The Random Thought Thread

we know he's not latavius murray because he breaks tackles and is a factor in the passing game

he's not an attractive option but he is a reasonably reliable guy with value right now - and with JK working back from the injury you've got to think he's not going to be the lead back for long if he ever is

and we're not bare behind davis too - we've got hill and badie who both have burst and athleticism

maybe we'll fish for some backs to have on the PS or maybe we're fine with McCrary
Yeah but our team is a bit weird. Like even when JK and Gus were both healthy, Hill never saw any opportunity. Then in the titans playoff game EARLY when Mark was out Gus just didn't really get a shot. Same kinda thing with Proche he just wasn't given snaps.

I just wonder this year if Hill and Badie are really going to factor much into the game or of its gonna be like 3 or 4 snaps per game.

they'll ride the hot hand

Two totally random thoughts.

1) I think when we play the patriots, Jones is gonna throw like 3 interceptions. Patricia and Judge are super incompetent over there.

2) Was just thinking it would have been super fun to have Jacoby Jones in a LJ8 offense

In this case, it can be called self defense as to what Donald did

We got a real Blue Mountain State in Texas. Lol
“The senior boys did an initiation, where they went out to the baseball fields and made the younger players put cookies dipped in hot sauce between their butt cheeks," a source told KENS-TV. "Then, they had to race each other, and if any of the cookies fell out the person would have to eat it. “

So on the whole punt God thing. Anyone find it weird that he got cut this quickly? Like he and his agent have maintained innocence the whole time. So in a situation where there's accusations and denial rather than confession, isn't the procedure that an investigation takes place?

Like is the girl pressing criminal or civil charges? Is this just something that got posted online. I know none of the details. My only point here is that the way this situation was handled versus Deshaun Watson is incredibly different.

And obviously Watson is a star QB and the other is a rookie punter, I get that, but that would only emphasize a double standard.

It’s all up to the team, thinking the Ravens would do the same. Browns don’t care.

they dont care about the double standard - they care that this became public - the bills 100% knew this stuff was out there, they just banked on the fact that it wasnt that big a deal or that no one would care about a punter or that the media wouldnt care about a punter

they got rid of him because the negativity that came from it was having a profound impact on the coach and the locker room and a 6th round punter

i get that it's "laudable" that they got rid of him - but im slightly cynical because there's no way they didnt know before this came out - other teams knew and didnt have him on the board - which suggests that they didnt care about the allegations, only cared about either the public furore or araiza's agent's statement

EDIT: the bills will claim they didnt know - but that beggars belief - the implication being they're not very good at thoroughly backgrounding their draft prospects

1st it's the Bills and not the clowns
2nd they have the roster to win it all. Gotta get rid of problems. There's no reason to deal with media and lose focus - especially if it's a punter

Apparently, Bills "found out about it a month ago" (according to Bills). That's a load of crap.

They still waited to ride it out, cut the other punter since but not this assehole.
