SSS had a lot left in the tank and played well, Boldin and Mason were beasts! It really bothered me when we traded Q.

And people really think he would be crucified for that? How many turnovers do you think Lamar has in the playoffs?

You get crucified when your team scores 3 points in a playoff game, and you, as a mobile QB, have less than 200 yards of offense, and you turn the ball over. You get crucified when the offense you lead hasn't scored more than 20 points in a playoff game since you entered the league, which was now 5 seasons ago.

Show me a playoff game where Lamar's team scores 30 points, he goes for nearly 300 yards, and he doesn't turn the ball over. Promise you... they won't be complaining about Lamar.

I don’t know brother, I am still seeing the pundits sucking Herbert off. It seems like Matt Ryan back in the day. Ryan had all kind of weapons but never did shit in the playoffs except for one year. I will take Lamar every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I get Lamar has had injuries lately but Lamar has never gotten that kinda love from the pundits. Hopefully Lamar balls out this season with our new weapons at WR and the change in OC!

I think it comes down to lack of options out there. Better the devil you know kinda situation

Gotta hope Lamar becomes as much of a passer as Herbert. If he's going to sustain a career and succeed in the tournament he's got to find some consistency.

This is true but we really need to draft or sign a viable backup next offseason. Huntley needs to not be on this roster lol

Well the problem is a) Herbert hasn't had a lot of weapons and b) his OC was worse than Roman by a pretty large margin.

Lamar gets a "pass" for both of those things, so seems odd not to give the same pass to Herbert.

Not to mention that the media slurps Herbert more because he has supreme arm talent and is more durable than Lamar, which will help his long term career trajectory.

This year he has Kellen Moore, so lets see what he does now. In the meantime, his weapons are pretty decent with Mike Williams, Keenan Allen (when healthy) and Austin Ekeler, who is basically another wide receiver.

Apparently Herbert and Alan don’t have good weapons, and since Burrow doesn’t have a good O line neither does he. But Lamar, he sucks, just make him throw and he chokes in the playoffs.

For the record I like Herbert, he’s got the Flacco canon arm

Allen weapons not really anything outside of diggs but herbert got weapons over there for sure. I doubt anyone thinks chargers dnt have any weapons
