This might be my first positive post since the loss. I don't think we've seen Lamar's best season and I still believe Madubuike is an ascending playing. When EDC has said he wants to improve a position he has. I know it's a big ask but all we need from this team is mental toughness.
as much as it sucks for growing pain I love hearing all these players talk about how shit they felt after the loss, it builds and helps you out next year

on the other hand, if you lose to the chiefs again, then you become the bills and feel like no matter how hard you train or try its not gonna matter

we play @kc in a game this year, will be interesting to see how the guys preform

This.

And mental toughness has to start with #8 himself. Fuck everyone who calls him a glorified running back, LamaRB, doesn't deserve MVP, etc. Just needs to play his game.

If you can't beat Lamar.... injure him. Bengals installing new field turf that is used at Metlife Stadium.

The Bengals and Hamilton County will install a FieldTurf Core system in its place. That surface is also used in stadiums in Atlanta, Carolina, Detroit, New England, New York and Seattle.

He sure shouldn’t be working with kids. They don’t need to learn how to be an ass.

from what I saw those dudes had an issue with Cam before anything even started. There was a video released before the camp and there was alot of talk going on.

They were coaches of a team that Newton’s team lost to the day before. Sounds like there was a lot of trash talk between them during that game. go figure, Cam talkin’ trash.

Regardless, dude is 34 years old, should know how to walk away in that situation, especially around a bunch of kids.

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Atlanta Police Department has released details about the altercation involving former NFL star Cam Newton, 34, at a youth football tournament in Atlanta on Feb. 26.

A viral video on social media shows the former Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots quarterback fighting with other men during a 7v7 All-Star football tournament at the B.E.S.T. Academy on Northwest Drive NW in Atlanta.

APD says officers at the We Ball Sports Flag Football Tournament swiftly intervened to break up the fight and successfully separated the involved parties.

After the separation, several of the individuals engaged in the altercation fled the scene

According to USA Today, the altercation was initiated because Newton was taunting two men, Steph Brown and TJ Brown from TopShelf Performance, who had previously worked for Newton's program.

The two coaches left the field during the ongoing game and sought out Newton. Brown admitted to USA Today that he was wrong to let Newton get into his head.

This incident was not the first altercation involving Newton at a 7v7 tournament this year. A photographer captured a moment between Newton and Jay Wimbrow with the South Florida Express on Jan. 27.

The report says what I said. They sought out Newton. Now if we're going to be okay with people getting assaulted for taunting we gotta keep that energy whenever that happens.

Man got jumped, has every right to defend himself. I'd slap a little shithead if he took a shot.

Grown ass men should not be fighting over trash talk, the group of guys who began throwing punches are in the wrong, clearly.
It sounds like Cam grabbed one of the guys and that's when the fight broke out. None of it should be going on at a youth football camp.

While responding police officers said they didn't know what started the fight, one of the event's organizers, We Ball Sports co-founder Nehemiah Mitchell, told The Athletic's Lukas Weese and Joseph Person that Newton's 7-on-7 team, C1N, lost to the TopShelf team one day earlier and that a lot of trash-talking was involved.
TJ Brown, a coach for the TopShelf 7-on-7 team, told Scott Thompson of Fox News (via TMZ Sports) that Newton had been involved in trash-talking throughout the tournament, including during a game:
"Cam jumps out of his car and yells, 'Hey, all that sorry s--t ain't gonna work today. What we betting today? What we betting?' I'm like, 'I ain't betting you, bro. I already beat you three, four times. You got to beat me first.' He like, 'What we betting? I got plenty of money. I ain't ever running out of money.' That's when I told him, 'That's your problem. All you care about is money. You think money is everything. You can't buy me.' And I walk off."
Brown also said that Newton grabbed Stephon Brown, another coach for TopShelf, after they confronted him, which led to the fight. Everyone involved in the brawl was escorted out of the tournament.
