Hahaha you're definitely partially right! This shit is pretty unpredictable. But this team does have a lot of needs. And we've not been able to get day 3 picks on the field as rookies. That's not an insult it's just a fact. So we're gonna have to do as well as we did in the last draft with Nate and Roger. And not bring in Eddie Jacksons
i mean not many day 3 guys play significant roles as rookies league-wide (on good teams)
but that's why you develop guys over multiple seasons because we get a lot of guys on the field in year 2-4 from day 3...
2021 Tylan Wallace, Ar'Darius Washington... was a bit of a miss with only Tylan really sticking around, but it was also widely regarded as a terrible draft class, we managed to get Ar'Darius as a udfa though
2022 Likely, Faalele, Stout, Kolar + JAD as contributors from that day 3 class
2023 Tavius Robinson and Andrew Vorhees, Keaton Mitchell - Robinson's became a significant part of the EDGE rotation and Vorhees won the start at LG to begin the season and may well get the chance to win it again this offseason too... Keaton Mitchell as a udfa too
2024 no immediate starters but a few special teams contributors and a bunch of guys who are starting to find snaps late in the season: Tez Walker and Rasheen Ali starting to get involved as depth guys on offence, Kane and Beau Brade are part of the special teams units, TJ Tampa is someone to keep an eye on in terms of development
