I really would love to knock the Pats out of the playoffs just to ask the fans if that was Deflategate karma... The sorry ass Steelers have just made it that much harder. Nothing I'd hate more than being the team to knock the Jags out the playoffs just to lose to the Steelers or Patriots next round.

Titans could easily slip up and make us the 5th seed if we win out, giving us the chiefs

I think it would be so cool to one time all meet up and hang out for a Ravens game or the Super Bowl or something.

I feel like I know all of you, yet I don’t know any of you lol. Probably not something that is realistic but it sure would be fun. If we really put some effort into it though I feel like it could happen. Sort of like a class reunion except the class has never met in person
Will @OriolesMagicPlease be the entertainment?

Ravens winning SB 52, in a purple stadium in honor of Ray Lewis as he goes into the HoF on his first shot... IT WAS WRITTEN!

If anything right now the Ravens are more likely to finish as the 5 seed than the 6 seed.
The part I hate about it is this...

As a six seed, we get the jags and if we win we get the pats. I think our chances at beating either team are shockingly about the same and far less than our chances of beating the steelerS. If we get the six seed we have a harder wild card, but imo based on matchups an easier divisional round, where if we get the 5 we have a piss easy wild card and a nearly impossible divisional.

I'd rather take the hard wild card with a chance to get bounced early, than the easy wild card and essentially a free win only to get bounced by a team we simply aren't built to beat. Basically we have a better shot at he AFCCG as a six than as a 5. But any given Sunday, it's hard to beat a team 3 times in one season, but dammit I don't like our matchups with the steelers

All we gotta do is fire a coordinator, then shit starts looking familiar.

When we make the wild card I'm gonna need sizzle to announce his retirement also. He can backpedal on that after we win it all.

Depends on if they have Antonio Brown back to full health. I doubt he will be full strength with a partial torn calf. That being said, we can take the Steelers. I'd love to knock the Pats out of the playoffs.

your logic is incorrect though - your logic assumes that the other wildcard team wins as well which im not sure is likely at all...
so if we go in as the 5th seed and beat the AFC West winner then we likely face the 1 seed still which is the pats - the 5th seed likely gives us the best of both worlds in your eyes

It's the steelers man. Injuries don't mean shit. You know browns gonna make his return THAT week, all week he's gonna talk about how much pain he's in and how limited he is, and then he's gonna hang 200 yards and 3tds on us

The Brit correcting the American. Bring on those Redcoats.

Idk I guess the Pats scare me more than any else around here. I don’t think we’d be able to handle their offense.

But with the way Blake Bortles is playing, keep me the fuck away from those Jaguars man.

You're right, slip up there. Well damn yeah that makes it a whole other story. Shit if we win the 5 then I'm starting to really like our chances.

So do you think we stand a better chance to beat the pats or the steelers?

The absurd amount of elite targets on the steelers, for our defense specifically, I think makes them a far worse matchup. Having a rb like bell makes it impossible for us to defend the pass effectively now that we have to bring down safeties due to the loss of jimmy. We don't have to worry about that against the pats

He will be nothing more than a decoy if he returns. I would assume a calf tear can't heal that quickly especially at that position. And from a straight personnel standpoint, only the Jags worry me. I know the other teams see blood in the water as well.

idk i kind of prefer another crack at the steelers - we had them beat but our defence had an abysmal day at the office and ive gotta think they'd improve the next time round while id be incredibly worried about the matchups with our linebackers and jefferson and the dime vs the pats running backs and gronk...

I'll take the combo of the pats rbs and gronk over the combo of Bell and Jesse James, I simply think Bell is a more elite talent at his respective role than gronk is. When bell is on the field you gotta prepare for him to run AND receive on every snap, and you gotta prepare big time, the patriots RBs don't require nearly as much attention and game planning. If you stifle gronk as much as possible and limit Brandon cooks then half the battle is won and stopping their run game isn't nearly as difficult as it is against the steelers. When the steelers run game isn't clicking they still have 3 very very good talents to catch the ball and then bell will also do damage receiving, you stop one and the other eats you alive. With the patriots it's really all about hitting brady(without drawing flags) and staying physical with gronk.

I just like the matchups so much better. Hell I think if juju was playing then that dry streak the steelers had wouldn't have happened and it wouldn't have even been close at the end.
