Wow. That Tony Jefferson interview in the locker room really shows me how tight this team is. Him holding back tears just because the season ENDED is extremely telling. Regardless of the outcome, I’m so proud of these guys and I absolutely love being a fan of this organization. On to next year!

Since winning the Super Bowl, we've missed the playoffs every year when we play the Bengals in week 17. I'm getting really tired of the Steelers always getting to play the Browns.

I tire of it too, but if they had beaten Pittsburgh even one time it wouldn't have mattered. They need to win more games each year.

if i am bisciotti i would talk to flacco 1 on 1 and tell him you have 2 more years until we are able to release you which we do not want to do but if we cannot afford to keep guys and build around you than that is what is going to happen. if you truly want to have a shot at another ring than take enough of a paycut to allow us to re sign jensen and bring in a legit #1 receiver. wont happen but one can dream.
Correct, that's why that Steeler fan was thrilled we didn't make the playoffs and it made his night.

for conversation sake what are your thoughts on possibly trading jimmy smith being he is pretty much never around at the end of the season. we could draft a cb in the 1st or 2nd or sign a free agent to take his place but free up $$ to bring in better receivers and possibly a proven te. schedule is tough next season and we need a better offense.

By the way, where has Pierce been? I feel like we haven't talked about him in a while now. Dude's been a disappointment, but at the same time, he probably exceeded expectations as a UDFA. We truly need interior pass-rush since B-Will won't be that guy and I don't know about Big Willie. Hopefully Urban can stay healthy, but I don't know.
Pierce has been overshadowed because he’s mostly played at nose tackle and almost exclusively in the run game - I’m not disappointed with him but was hoping in the offseason that he might have taken a step forward in his abilities vs the pass

Ahhh gotcha. But yeah he showed a little something something against the pass last season before our pass-rush started to become inconsistent. I think that's why I've been disappointed. Now was Wormley hurt or was he a healthy scratch for the past few games? That's another guy that showed something.

Switching Pierce's and Williams' roles did disservice to both and to the Ravens.

For what reason was this? Most of the time I don't watch the games as closely as many of you guys (hence why I joined these forums), but that's a damn shame if this is true.

I now know that I should never have doubted filmstudy who suggested something like that in the offseason - Andy Benoit had suggested the other way around - if those guys are at odds I know which side I’m siding in future

I have no idea. It's stupid. It looked like they wanted to somehow justify BWill's contract by putting him in a position to make more sacks.
What's next? Give Perriman $60 mil deal, which will automatically make him WR1?
