Joe Flacco

I'm sorry, Rodgers isn't in the same atmosphere level as Brady.

Brady

Everyone else

Anyone who disagrees with this needs to get the purple dildos out of their ass. I don't like it but there's no disputing Brady as the GOAT. Period. Rodgers is more athletic, but he's not on his level.
I'm sorry, are you saying everyone else in NFL history or just the NFL today? Brady is definitely in the GOAT discussion but he is not miles ahead of everyone else like you make it sound,

He's just one smug cheater that got lucky playing for BB.

and if Watson hadn't dropped the ball he would have had one.
if nelson made the catch he would have increased his int streak with another game.

so yeah neither happened so it wasent great nor the usual shit we have come to expect.

it was a good game for flacco.

not sure what the problem is tbh.

with the amount of money he made, is making, is going to make and the highest freaking cap hit in the NFL, 222 yards alone is a joke tbh.
with these low standards i guess when correa gets a snap it must be considered a great performance as well.....

the only QBs for who i would consider 222 yards with no picks a great performance would be guys like schaub, mallet , tebow , sanchez and more of those bums.
222 yards is great for back ups not for guys getting paid franchise QB money.

Only quarterbacks I might consider over him came from eras so long ago and so different it's hard to compare them.

Better than Manning, Young, Montana, Favre, Rodgers, Marino, Brees, ... is there any modern or semi modern quarterback that comes close?

And you're an idiot. Literally. I have lost all respect for anything you can say.

Deflated footballs and watching taping practices don't escalate someone as far as Brady. And BB is good yes, but Brady is the one making everything happen at the end of the day.

I'm being a little dramatic with the respect thing. But seriously... COME ON MAN!

I miss the old forum, obnoxious mods and trolls and all. But it's shaping up ok here.

I love Flacco, I remember saying back in 2009 that he showed potential and was on a similar track in his first four- five years and Brady was minus the Super Bowl wins.

But that comparison ship has long since sailed.

Flacco is like Eli Manning +. They're very similar. Flacco at his best looks like a poor mans Ben Rothlisburger.

And I'm not trying to knock Joe. When he plays well, and he did play pretty well on Sunday, he's a good quarterback. Sometimes he plays like a great one. If we returned to 2010-2011 form I'd be more than satisfied with that.

But yeah, Flacco to Brady comparisons are dumb. To be fair, I think most comparisons to Brady are dumb.

And Perriman?

One game of Joe playing well isn't nearly enough for me to eat some crow. Can he be consistent with it? But, I'll give him his props that is for sure.

Those are the key words; "KEEP IT UP".
Have you watched the game yet? I need to catch up sorry if you've already answered that.

Perriman looked like he got open a few times, like on that play where Flacco missed Watson on an out post route, it looked like Perriman beat his guy off the line but he was largely ignored for reasons we can speculate on.

He did make a nice big third down catch but it's a catch I expect any WR to make, but at least he caught it. I'd like to see him more involved, he continues to be a head scratcher.

Anyway I'm excited to see what you think after you're able to watch

Aaron Rodgers is the best thrower of the football EVER! Before him was Marino period. Brady is great, not the GOAT imo but whatever. Brady last to 2 Superbowls he won was because of bad coaching from the Seahawks and Falcons. If both teams ran the ball, Brady would have a 3-4 record in the Superbowl.

i think 99.9 % of all QBs in NFL history would sign up for a 3-4 SB record.

montana bradshaw and maybe aikman would be the only ones who would be contend with what they have lol

heck majority of the teams would be thrilled to have 3 SB victories .....

he's a head scratcher bc he looks like a full blown WR out there but the gets maybe 2-3 targets a game with 2 of those targets coming to him with within the first 5 yards. He is getting open in my opinion

One correction. He didn't miss Watson. If he had thrown it where Watson was that would have 100% been an INT.

Yea I agree, Joe was seeing the field that day. I specifically watched Perriman that play and saw him beat his guy, Flacco could of looked off the safety by taking to Watson (which did happen) and then he could of launched it to Perriman. He still excites me and he shouldn't because he hasn't proved much but if he can get the ball in space he's dangerous

I agree and still believe in Perriman. Call me optimistic, but I feel he has so much potential If given the chance,

Just think of it this way. Most wide receivers hit their stride in year 3. Perriman is in his 2nd season of play and was super raw coming out of college. He started to come on as of late last season. It's hard for young players to perform when they do not have an offseason to help prepare. I have hope for him to bust out, he won't be an Antonio Brown or an AJ Green in my eyes because he isn't aggressive enough, but I can see mid-tier WR1 out of him if he pulls it together. Like Joe looking rusty the first few games because he's been out with a back injury, I think Perriman starts contributing a lot more in the next 2-3 games.

I did watch the game @OURavensFan. And, to be honest, I really enjoyed watching our offense in action. They played a whole lot better on the road out west than I expected. And, I absolutely LOVED the offense opening up with that 52 yard pass play from Flacco to Wallace on their very 1st down of their 1st possession. UNEXPECTED and UNPREDICTABLE! The running game looked nice as well. And yes! To me? Flacco looked and played very well. Better than the past few games.

NOW....

I just want Flacco and the offense to play consistently from game to game! Sure, the opponents may change and the location may change and the defensive scheme may change BUT the one thing that should remain the same is that our offense doesn't give a damn about those things because they are more than confident in themselves that they can overcome ALL of that stuff to get the "W". Well, we shall see if they can because here comes "Da Bears".

GO RAVENS!

It's true that most WR's don't start to hit their stride until year 3 and with Perriman missing all of his preseason games, except game four last year, it makes it more difficult. Atleast he had the chance to participate in the offseason workouts and some of training camp this year.

learn to win, then become great......

well we all look like idiots - he's not a bad qb he was just playing awful...
I don't know that anyone looks like idiots except those who were not just acknowledging his abysmal play but calling him garbage and done, etc. He hasn't played well since his injury, and, let's remember it is only one game. It is my hope it is his turnaround game and he's back but who knows.
