Joe Flacco

Definitely need to start scouting qbs Id we haven’t already as a fo. That being said, even if we draft one in 2018, Flacco will start atleast one more year.
Hope we see an Alex Smith type resurgence from Flacco if we take a QB high.

Flacco is lucky he's playing in baltimore. If this were a big market team he would have been crucified by the the press

such is our irrelevency that the highest cap hit in the NFL is last in QBR with more interceptions to touchdowns but can just relax on the sideline and just get the day over with

lets face it, he's just in this to get as stinking rich as possible to put money in for his football team of children to have access to.

Alex smith is

1- More accurate and makes better reads
2- More Mobile
3- Actually has grown balls in the past couple of years
4-Became a leader

flacco is none of the above. He can simply throw the ball further. thats it..and not accurately.
5- Has time in the pocket.

Yes we need to replace him, but we also need an offensive line or it won’t matter who the qb is.

well his best play did came in a contract year after he refused the first offer lol

I'll never forget when he said after the SB '' I can't wait to stick it to em ( the FO) '' implying that he was going to only accept being the highest paid QB by a longshot.

Him and his asshole agent linta laughably taking the piss out of the FO saying they screwed themselves.
and then the idiots who thought flacco was doing us a favor with the extension.
anything but

Are you talking about when an olineman had a false start causing a 10sec run off and then jensen started a fight with Joseph after boyles catch wasting 10 seconds?

Harbs chewed jensen out after the game
No, I'm talking about the end of 1st half and the end of the game where Flacco did fuck all to rush his offensive line to snap. He ran off 30 seconds by moving like molasses.

He will never understand that it's he who is supposed to run that offense. And he can't be any more comfortable not giving a fuck as long as he's let to not give a fuck.

For 20+ million a year????????????????????

And the end of the game is what im talking about. We had an olineman false start and our centre started a fight the next play. We can't snap the ball without our bloody centre.

My gamepass cut out on the final drive but i thought marty called 2 runs when we got the ball with 30 seconds left? Whats your qb to do there?

I think some may have missed that bit of action. But hey, Flacco probably actually started the fight, Jensen just backed him up. lol

Good points.

I feel like Flacco always has that one throw to give fans hope, but never shows it consistently.

That throw to Chris Moore was gorgeous.

I think that is what irritates me the most. Comparing Flacco to Boller. Boller was never really that good. He had moments of greatness. Just moments though.
Flacco has had stretches of multiple games where he has been FANTASTIC. There is no doubt in my mind nor should there be any doubt in anyone's mind that he CAN be great. He just isn't any more. His flashes are getting further and farther in between and more and more brief.

Flacco will finish out his contract here unless we snag some vet, but I don't know who, or how. If we draft I doubt he will be thrust into the starting position game one.
The transition years will be ugly. Good chance we don't see a plus .500 season for a few years, possibly. This ship is just too damaged.

I thought Flacco was fantastic against Oakland, personally. I had really high hopes for the Bears game and I thought he could abuse some match ups in the Vikes game today. Can't really hold today against him when you go down five pass catchers.

But looking at the schedule, I think the next best chance will be against GB if everyone is healthy. They have a pretty bad secondary and they're going to be without Aaron Rodgers, so there won't be a need for Flacco to quickly and rapidly carry the offense. He can build some momentum. We'll see what happens, though.

This is quite possible, but I do believe if we draft a qb he could be starting in yr two with Flacco on the bench, even with his contract.

yeah he was ON for Oakland I agree, but I regretfully think that that game was the anomaly, not the rest of them.
I was optimistic for today, especially after watching the Vikings last week. When I say optimistic, I mean I thought we would hang in there a bit tighter. Not necessarily a W, but sure as hell not a two possession loss like today.

To be fair, the Vikings front seven REALLY abused the Ravens offensive line. They got worked like a drum in both phases. I'm sure Joe felt some phantoms, like when he tripped over his feet.

for clarity sake, I said Flacco will finish out his contract here, I did not specify as a starter though.

All that also said I think Woodrum will have a future here as well ( or at least I hope so. I really like the guy )

I think he will be in the running with whoever we draft. One will be a back up.

Mallette is not in the equation is my prediction.
