Man I would love Flacco to heal right now if we were 5-3 I would definitely say do it. But at 4-4 if this team really believes it has playoff hopes this game may be huge. The team needs to go 6-2 the rest of the season to get into the postseason most likely. Luckily for them the Packers are without Rodgers and the Titans have been struggling. It will be tough for them to beat the Texans with how hot Watson is playing but I think the Ravens match up pretty well against the rookie. Steelers you have to win because they already have a loss against them at M&T. Lions will also be difficult I think they match up well against our offense which is unfortunate. Those are the three games I think the team might struggle heavily in.

Yeah - if we were 5-3 ... that damn Bears game. I can't help but feel that if we come up one game short this season, it will be that game that was the unforgivable loss. I would feel SO much better right now if we had taken it. On the road at TEN is a game I assumed we'd lose - now it feels like one we have to win to stay on track.

I have no idea where Flacco is going to be in 10 days. I don't think anyone does - including team MDs. That hit was SO brutal and the instant effect of it that showed on his face was very disturbing. If I had to guess, I'd say he's out. I just hope it isn't longer and even more so, hope that it isn't something that will affect him forever.

When we were kids, my sister and I fought (verbally and a few pushes and shoves etc.) but when other dude's "tried" that....they had to deal with me and they wanted no part of that! I don’t understand how anyone can defend that hit. Sure Flacco may have slid a second late, but no, Alonso hadn’t left his feet, he could’ve at least fucking tried to move out of the way. The fact is that Flacco WAS ON THE GROUND WHEN HE HIT HIM. THATS IT. He literally aimed with his arm and his shoulder right at Flacco’s head. And showed no remorse. That should be a multiple game suspension, easy. But it’s probably not going to be. Because who gives a fuck about the Ravens. It’s bs.

it was bang bang. don't even think a flag should have been thrown. flacco never got into his slide he dropped to the ground while Alonso, (who is a beast, wish we had him and could have had him), was already into his "launch". the slide was a second late at least. but really? you really gonna penalize or eject a guy on a one second decision? the game is fast ain't it? no there ain't room in the game for punishing a player on a play like that. Flacco was sold out for the first down and realized to late he wasn't gonna safely make it, so he tried to end the charge to the first down line with a "UT OH" drop to the ground. there weren't no slide when flacco entered la la land. BANG, it was heckuva hit. it was a righteous hit and if anyone is to blame its flacco for taking the dive far to late. it was the kinda hit you want your defense to make. it was a old time NFL football hit and it had potential to be a game changer but knockin flacco out did not do the fins any good. because mallet filled the bill and our defense was frosty. but we match up well vs the fins and here today after one game hope springs eternal and folks are lamenting "we don't have a healthy flacco for the next game which vaults us into the playoff picture." really?......really?
