On the running play he shot right through the gap almost untouched, but on the sack, no.
i must have conflated the two together

The free agent class next year is highly interesting. Keenum, Bradford, Savage, Bridgewater, McCarron. They're going to get overshadowed by players like Jimmy G, Kirk Cousins, and Drew Brees, but there are some good names on the market in addition to highly touted quarterback prospects
I can't see Keenum or Bridgewater sticking around if the other is signed because I'm sure both want to be a starter somewhere.well the vikings will be paying one of keenum or bridgewater and depending on which one they pay (and therefore how much) they may also be able to franchise the other one...
drew brees wont be going anywhere nor will jimmy g
so the headlines on the free agent qb market will be kirk cousins, sam bradford, aj mccarron, (probably tyrod taylor too), (probably eli manning too)
add to that josh rosen, josh allen, (probably sam darnold too), baker mayfield and then some other interesting qb names in the draft and hopefully the league sees an uptick in average qb play levels by getting these guys into good situations...
None of those guys are good outside of Jimmy G. Brees is 40 so i wouldnt want himThe free agent class next year is highly interesting. Keenum, Bradford, Savage, Bridgewater, McCarron. That one closed the book on Flacco for me. Lost all respect and can't wait to see the change under center. The one comment that stands out to me now is that he was asked about working during the bye week and Joe responded,
"If we don't have to be here, I'm not here."
I'm all for relaxing on a week off during a stressful season, but the offense is horrendous and it would show a lot of initiative if Joe had come in to put in a little work. That one closed the book on Flacco for me. Lost all respect and can't wait to see the change under center.
Joe has always been satisfied at being mediocre. Now he trash so he just dgaf. We need a real competitor under center. That one closed the book on Flacco for me. Lost all respect and can't wait to see the change under center.

I think Brees is interesting because I don't know that the Saints get anything done with him. They've been trying for a while and haven't made any steps. I think he may retire sooner or later.
I think the Ravens will be able to make a play, if they want to, for one of the Vikes quarterbacks, McCarron, Taylor, or one of the draft eligible quarterbacks.
Is that @Tank?The things you see on FB..

I mean, Brees is like 39? I don't know if the Saints want to commit the money he'd be asking for. But then again, you don't really have an option behind him and they're team actually looks really primed to make a playoff run.with brees i always felt part of the issue was the insecurity around sean payton and the lack of help around him - now that he's got a great team i dont see him wanting to go anywhere else
i cant see the ravens going after a free agent qb though just because of value for money they seem far more likely to take a higher draft pick and roll with a rookie than an overpriced free agent (who likely wont want to come here anyway because we have (rightly or wrongly) an entrenched starter)

This is not the position I want the Ravens in. Ill prepared if the time to move on from Flacco does come.
Add in the team's commitment to the run recently and adding some young weapons to their defense... They don't need Brees putting up 5000 yards like he had to before. They could be content with 4200-4500 and feature Kamara when Ingram will likely hit FA after his monster season. They are actually somewhat balanced on offense for the first time in awhile. Brees I think can play a few more years if he chose to do so.i mean brees has shown no real signs of decline yet at 39 - maybe they work out a deal with an option after 2 years or something idk but it doesnt make sense for either party not to stay together

As good as humphrey has looked..lattimore was worth trading up for.
He's playing like a vet. Real strange to see that from a rook, especially at that position.
