Joe Flacco

As far as Joe is concerned, he'll never win with the fans here. If we actually did go out and find him a top tier player in his prime, then we'd hear about how that guy just makes Flacco look good.

I wish people here would actually watch other teams play, because it is obvious they do not. If they did, they would see certain things, like how Brady is absolute garbage if he has to move around in the pocket, and they'll see how guys like James White takes a two yard dump off and jukes his way downfield for 30+ yards. They'll see little things, like the effect that Gronk powering his way for an extra 3 yards for a first down has on a game. They'll see that a great offense is like the Musketeers; all for one and one for all...nobody looks good unless everyone is doing their jobs.

If people see these things and acknowledge it, and STILL have a double standard about Flacco needing competent support, well...whatever.
You said it prez, One Twenty will always be a polarizing figure around here no matter his performance.

I agree with most things you’ve been saying but this is just wrong?

I'd take Belichick and that EP system over Brady any day and twice on Sundays (and twice on select Thursdays and Mondays). That system is really something and what do we have?

Is it? Next time you rewatch the SB, take note of what happens when Brady gets flushed out of the pocket and moves around more than two - three steps.
I wouldn't say absolute garbage, but he looks as beatable as any other qb when forced off his spot. It’s just an idea at this point.

He put up over 500 with his deep threat gone most of the game and lead a comeback against the Jags without Gronk, granted some iffy calls to extend drives. Even on passes that were deflected, if the defenders weren't there he was putting passes on the money. His pocket awareness is way beyond Flacco's as well. A system can't just make a qb accurate, though it will help free guys up. I can't understand how some of you are so willing to shit on Brady just to try and boost Joe for your narrative(and I'm no Brady fan). How many teams can completely abandon the run game and still succeed?

I also don't think anyone is denying we need weapons on offense. My opinion is some of you are like parents who can't admit maybe their child just isn't that special. If you get Ds and Fs for half the year and close with Bs and As, you can't expect to make honor roll.

and Rodgers is the best qb in football. Not close.

What? Yes I’m talking to you? Do you need me to speak slower for you? Do you need me to read it to you? What the hell are you saying? Are you’ve trying to tell me the Eagles’ QBs didn’t have an insane amount of weapons this year? What are you smoking? The Eagles are literally one of the teams that you 100% cannot say that the QB did it on his own. There’s a reason they won the super bowl. There’s a reason Nick Foles was able to play so well. How many brain cells do you have?

You still talkin to me?.......really?......me?

Might be misperceiving Nick Foles methinks.....Really?.....Nick did it with great receivers?.......hmmmm

Well Nick surely "Joe Flaccoed" in the post season. (Meaning it was his best time)
Carson Wentz is a very efficient QB...so its their receivers humpf?

Nelson Agholor
Torrey Smith
Alshon Jeffery?

I'll admit Jeffery is a guy I'd like to have, but 789 yards?.........the TD's were good. Are those TD.s due to Jeffery's prowess or QBs?

I'd trade our QB guy for their QB backup and give them ozzie and harball too.

Nick Foles made good players look average but Torrey, there 3rd best weapon at best (I could possibly argue he is there 4th) is the 2nd best weapon Flacco has had his entire career.

Rather then focussing on the parts around the QBs , the focus should be on the individual qualities of the QBs themselves.

The difference between Flacco and Brady is not the system nor the players.

The difference is simply that Brady is just a much and much better QB.

Other then a bigger arm what else does flacco have that is superior to brady?
Larger family

Changing up your story now are you?

So which is it?

Is he absolute garbage when he “has to move around in the pocket” or is he absolute garbage when he “gets flushed outside the pocket”

First of all, those are two very different things. So try and stick to one narrative. Here’s your answer, neither. Every year of his career Brady has improved his movement inside the pocket. This year he was actually very good at evading pressure and stepping up in the pocket.

No QB is going to still be amazing when he’s running outside the pocket, except Russell Wilson. But Tom Brady is not “absolute garbage” when he runs outside the pocket. That’s ignorant.

He literally had the highest passer rating when pressured in the league this year. You should probably watch more than one game before making these claims.

All Joe has to do is watch this and boom! Five thousand yards next season!

Reading comprehension 101. I LITERALLY said "when Brady gets flushed out of the pocket and moves around more than two - three steps." What part of that is confusing to you? What part of that is me "changing my narrative"?

If you took your own advice and watched games instead of burying your nose in stat sheets, this would all make complete sense to you.
