He will get in, in time. I think Joe Jacoby, the left tackle for the fabled Hogs should be in the hall of fame. He almost made it this year. Could be getting in in 2018

I think Emmitt is a top ten back of all time, but ahead of Dickerson, Peterson, Sanders, Campbell? No. Smith wasn't solely a product of the system, but he was helped a lot more than the others. Those four players were literally their entire team's offense.

I think he's overrated due to the players around him on offense and also the fact that he played for 15 seasons. Last five years of his career weren't even that great, but he needed them to cement all of his records.
