The WR Thread

Well Wallace has done better with us than he did with 2 other teams over 3 seasons, and was distraught in those locker rooms while he loves this team and raves about joe, so this was already disproven.

Maclins injury bug continued here and he also seems to have stopped giving a fuck, idk what happened there. Fair play.

Camp can't stay on the field for more than a handful of snaps each week if we wanna keep him healthy. That doesn't improve with another qb.

Moore is gonna have balls bounce off his hands and go soaring into fucktown regardless of who's throwing it.

Same with Perriman, although other qbs may not give up on him so easily. But he's so mentally weak I can't imagine he finds redemption. Talent is absurd but he's a shit for brains with brick hands so again, I doubt it.

Perrimans talent absurd?? You mean absurdly pathetic right?? He made some acrobatic plays against lower level competition in college. He was so slow and awkward in his routes, much like the WR the eagles dumped. He couldn’t catch in stride, didn’t have that acceleration and xtra gear and bad hands. I dunno what was wrong with the pro day watches. Doing his agent a solid maybe. He was routinely caught from behind. I harshly criticized the pick from the jump and it was justified.

I think you’re forgetting some pretty amazing catches he had last season as well. There’s a reason everyone was excited about him this year. There’s literally no denying Perriman has immense talent. You’re in denial if you don’t see it.

With that being said, Perriman absolutely needed to go somewhere that can actually develop WRs, he would’ve been better off literally almost everywhere else. We were stupid for drafting him.

Immense talent?? lol Y didn’t he continue to make amazing catches?? Teams knew he has some jump ball skills. The cornerback knows it now and is prepared. But his jump ball skills are not good enough that he makes them catches while cornerback looking for it. Y didn’t he pull away from cornerbacks in long balls?? Y didn’t he separate with his immense talent. Y did he get caught from behind?? Y didn’t he catch short throws and run by defenders?? Even without smarts and refinement a WR can at least be a functional big play threat if his talent is so immense. But he is a complete failure of a player

You're all about hindsight and what's happening now, the simple fact is that he made routine amazing acrobatic catches in college and made a good few of them last year as well and there was reason for excitement.

He had a decent season, then totally faded away the following year, and all you see is the faded away part and pummel us with "LOL TOLD YA SO!". So what about Demarcus and reshard Robinson? The guys you fucking ranted and raved about for a year and did absolutely nothing? There's a thing called projections and potential and not every player realizes the potential, that's why they say the draft is a crap shoot, it's all projection based and we thought we had a chance to grab a high end talent at wr who just needed some work. Unfortunately he didn't progress at all for unforeseen reason at the time of his drafting.

Stop making an ass out of yourself, the draft is about projections and you completely fail to realize it. Btw your insiders and trainers at the gym are wrong, very often.

Y can't you really make a legit argument and not mix everything?

Make an ass outa myself?? You argued with me Correa would be better than Ngakoue. lol said same thing when I said agholor would be better than perriman. Next season your humiliation and incompetence at athletics will be on full display when Humph doesn’t show up like you think. And Bowser is the next Correa. And BTW Miller is not as good as you think. He is ok but not even in same zip code as explosive as Ridley. And a round3-4 pick. Combine he will run high 4.5- 4.6 range. He looks somewhat fast playing lower competition dude

Uhhh wrong person, I liked agholor and was one of my favorites for our first round pick in 2015, I maintained that I thought agholor would find his stride and improve at some point. And yeah, I was wrong on correa, who I never had full confidence in and just wanted to see him put his speed and motor to good use and hope he found a niche with us.

Stop deflecting, whatsup with Demarcus and reshard Robinson? What about la'el Collins who Dallas fans are begging to be gone? Damn I wish we had the old boards archived so I could bring up your walls of text about so-and-so's quick twitch alpha muscle meaning a dominant career, you did it every year and jumped from one guy to the next. Weren't you on about Robert nkemdiche hard as shit?

Also, incompetence huh? I can blast the PMs of you telling how you're "jk about correa" and how you respect my opinions on football.

If Bowser is the next Correa why did you pick him in your redraft at the time?

Looking up all my posts. Thanx for the attention. I love it!! One reason I post here as opposed to a more centered board like RSR. You guys can’t stop analyzing me and my posts. Anyways yes I did go with bowser. But I didn’t know a lot about him and was being hopeful. I knew he was athletic with college production. After watching him in nfl and a little more college stuff. He has almost as many critical faults as Correa. There’s no athletically competent person that thinks Bowser will be a standout player now.

Your right I do respect your opinions. A lot actually. EXCEPT when you rave about EVERY early round pick the ravens make and bring homerism into your evaluations. Irritating!! Has to be some early round pick in last 4 drafts you dont think is gonna be awesome.

BTW If rashard gets on straight and narrow he could be a top3 cornerback. He woulda been a bigger deal than Claiborne coming out. And Demarcus was raw coming out from missing games at Florida. And is caught behind a lot of young talent in KC. But he is finding his stride, consistently getting open and made some key clutch plays and I think will break out next year. It would be totally awesome cool if ravens traded for him.

Yes I did go to the redraft thread to see if you did actually have any useful opinion back then. Turns out you didn't because you only changed one pick iirc.

You don't know a lot about anyone.

I don’t know how many fucking times @JoeyFlex5 has said that he doesn’t agree with a lot of Ravens picks, but he, like any other true fan, gets on board and looks at the upside of our guys rather than fucking bash them to no end.

So wait... optimism over a high ceiling showed in college?

How strange... sounds so familiar...

Yes for a while but opinions change. Some of my best friends wouldn’t be my friend if my initial thoughts were right. And I trusted the wrong people at times. Bowser was athletic with production so yes I was optimistic for a while. Everybody loses optimism over a failed pick at some point dude. You will eventually acknowledge it to about Bowser. I loved the Dan Cody pick back in 2005!! It was sad to see him always injured and unproductive. Til this day I wanted him to work out

So you acknowledge this is a thing... like changing your mind and being wrong actually exists... so why do you keep bringing up correa despite having the same feeling on other guys?

Saying there were better options and saying you don’t think the pick will work out like an early pick should is altogether different. If u don’t like a player much but suddenly rave about him and his sudden potential after ravens pick him. Then that is homerism. It’s ok to not think a pick will work out but hope to be wrong.

It’s not homerism, it’s perfectly acceptable amounts of optimism for a team that he supports as a fan - and your last sentence literally describes what happened with joey...

I feel that it's peculiar to point out biases after lambasting a member for mentioning Perriman's abilities despite his recent struggles and then stating that Robinson is capable of being a Top 3 corner based on his abilities despite his recent struggles.
