The WR Thread

I'm really starting to warm up on DJ Moore. How he can create on his own would help us big time. And his potential is through the roof.

Courtland Sutton is starting to grow on me. The first is rich for me but there's no question he's a nice piece.

I don’t get the James Washington hype. He runs too stiff. And only routes he runs are streaks and slants.

The number of routes a guy is asked to run is the most overrated aspect I've ever seen. I don't care how many routes he runs, I care about how well he runs them. In that regard Washington is one of the most underappreciated route runners of this class.

Yet hes ultra productive and makes contested catches. Hes the best deep ball tracker in this class and a hard worker. He does have his flaws though....i think his best value is 3rd round. I just think theres too many physical limitations with him

I originally wasn't a fan, but the more tape I watch, the more I like him.

I like him a lot as well, but he may end up going in the first round if that is the case, we won't be drafting him. He definitely more with the ball in his hands than anyone in this class. This is something that we are severely lacking on the Ravens.

I’m finding it hard to not like this guy. You can’t use the inferior competition argument against him when he consistently makes catches with DBs absolutely draped all over him.
Yeah tell me about it. I think he could end up being the best wr in this class when all is said and done. He just won’t be the first one taken and may go as late as the 4th. Stupid if he does, If you as me.

His ceiling is through the roof and if he’s there in the 3rd or 4th and we don’t take him I’ll be very upset. I’ll be interested to see what he does at the combine.

I’m struggling to find enough tape to make me comfortable with him

Combine will be big for him in media circles

But he’s already got day 2 grades from Washington and Indianapolis

I absolutely agree. There isn’t that much tape on him. Im hoping more comes out in time. Maybe a Voch Lombardi or Matt Waldman will put something together. I’d rather watch draftbreakdown first and form my own opinion, but I’ll take what I can get.

Watching DJ Moore film and man, if he had Rosen or mayfield or darnold vs UCF he may have hung 400 yards on them. He was setting up corners really well with acceleration and subtle twitches to sell one route and run another, strong hitches and comebacks, creative setups, splitting the corner and safety perfectly. He just shows a great understanding of how to play wr and I was underselling the hell out of him earlier. If e had a competent qb he'd be 2nd or 3rd best wr in the nation.

I really like Cedrick Wilson, but he's far from a finished product. He's a very good hands catcher and has the ability to adjust his body. He struggles through press coverage and needs to improve his footwork at the next level to sell his route and beat press coverage. He can be a very good WR at the next level if he puts in the work.
