While this statement is true. I have to criticize the plan itself if that's the case. If the plan is load up over a two year period of time to build a contender, then the oline should have been the first thing they addressed. Again, this plan falls flat on its face if Flacco gets injured in any capacity. And now the oline is more likely to give up sacks, and get Joe killed. Our franchise QB cannot afford another season ending injury. It doesn't help that the running game is also to likely suffer big time. The Browns have a mediocre defense. Not nearly as good as some of the defenses we play later on this season. It'd be one thing if we had another good guard on the oline. The injury would suck still, but it wouldn't be nearly as impactful.Can't fix everything in one off season... The good news is there aren't really holes on defense so he can focus ALL his attention on offense this year. And the moves on defense have paid off so far.
I just hope Flacco somehow makes it through this season healthy for next season. So that way the (stupid) plan actually has a chance to work.
