Week 4 Discussion (Other Teams)

2016: Derek Carr and Mariota got injured on the same day.

Today: Mariota and Carr once again get hurt on the same day.

The Broncos improve to 3-1 as the Raiders fall to 2-2 and potentially lost Derek Carr for the second straight year. Meanwhile the 49ers and Cardinals are trying to see if they can finish in a tie.

My biggest take away so far this week...last week we lost to the Jags in horrible fashion and made them look like super bowl contenders....this week they lost to the Jets Further making our loss to the Jags much much worse

think the cards offence is the nfc equivalent of ours - complete mess
You could also compare us to the Seahawks. Hawks D slipping and paying the price due to poor O-line and offensive play. They are narrowly 1-2 with there only win coming in a 12-9 win in wk 2 over SF.

When I watch Seattle play I think of the Ravens almost precisely, Russell Wilson expected to be top 10 QB play, with a typically top 3 Seattle defense. But due to horrible O-line play the Hawks offense takes a hit can't run the ball or pass, and too much pressure put on the defense to carry the load which has lead to the Seahawks D taking a hit so far this year.

Wow....... the what is a catch questions will definitley be brought back up this week. John Brown had the game winning TD and dragged his second foot in bounds but the refs ruled it incomplete. They reviewed it and said the play stood as an incomplete pass.

Palmer to Fitzgerald for the game winning TD as the Cardinals win 18-15

niners doing their best to lose after having a 7 and a half minute drive (with only 10 minutes of overtime available) and scoring a field goal and somehow still giving up a seemingly good touchdown

Through 4 weeks of NFL, the Sam Darnold sweepstakes looks like this, tiebreakers for the draft order is broken by Strength of Schedule which is in parenthesis. So the Browns would be in prime position to make a big trade with someone wanting to jump the Niners, Giants and Chargers for Darnold.

Browns 0-4 (.467)
49ers 0-4 (.600)
Giants (.667)
Chargers (.714)

It looked like his foot touched the sideline, but barely.
