So, I know some people were getting upset with the play of the Ravens defense, but when I was doing my write up, I stumbled upon some dismaying statistics.
The Bears managed only four scoring drives on 16 total drives. One of those drives started at the Ravens 20, so a bit more like three in 15.
The Ravens had FOURTEEN tackles for loss and four sacks. Nearly one in four offensive plays for the Bears was a guaranteed loss of yardage.
Before Jordan Howard's 53 yard run in OT, the Ravens defense allowed 2.97 yards per carry to Bears running backs.
The Ravens allowed like 29% of third downs to be converted into first downs, including any penalties that resulted in a first down.
If anyone wants to blame the defense for this loss, you need to rethink things heavily.
well the bears have a poor one dimensional offense and we had them at home. don't put to much stock in that defensive effort. our defense has big problems just not as big as our offense.
