2018 Free Agency

Daryl Smith was a good signing. But all them players are older patchwork players with declining skills signed to patch up a hole. Wasn’t Corey Graham signed as a special teams player that made strides as a defensive back. Mike Wallace was ok nothing special. I think he was referring to when was a player given a big contract and actually dominated like a franchise player. Tony Jabronison hasn’t played well. Weddle have one good year b4 slowing down like I said would happen. And Williams is solid but doesn’t dominate and is one dimensional. He sits on the bench during 2 minute drives. And if overrated Mosley is given money similar to Wagner we will watch a $12million a yr linebacker roasted in coverage and play average.
I was thinking the same thing. Daryl smith was the only guy. Rest of them were ok nothing special. I also think mosley is avg af! Said this a while ago but at the time people didnt see what i saw. Im all for picking up bowman to help out with what mosley is missing

Same with all of you, I don’t see a chance AR comes here.

But I enjoy seeing the Ravens name with the other teams interested.

That being said, if the Ravens were to sign AR I would literally explode. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself.

not steve smith sr? not weddle?

um ive only just seen this:

per adam schefter - 'When free agency opens Wednesday, former Vikings’ QB Case Keenum intends to sign with the Denver Broncos, sources tell ESPN. First QB domino has fallen. QB race is on.'

they just cleared loads of cap space with talib - i assumed it was to make a run at cousins and see if they could get him in a room with elway and let elway do his thing but it does not seem that way...

it would indicate that we are most definitely down to the last 3 in the race for cousins though: vikings, jets and cardinals

I think it's always been the Vikings. I would be shocked if he went to the Jets.

Depending on the value and structure of keenums contract, I think the broncos may go QB at 5 as well to ensure they're set for years.

vikings makes the most sense but the jets can offer even more money i imagine...

There's no amount of additional money you could pay me to deal with that shit show, that media, and living in New York (or New Jersey).

I'll gladly take my 28-30M and take my talents to Minneapolis.

I wouldn’t rule out Robinson. They way I see it is that we missed on just about everyone in the 2013 draft B Williams is the only guy we signed(Wagner walked). From the 2014 draft CJ is the only guy we’re going to sign. Missed on the entire 2015 class. 2016 looks like Stanley is the only person ravens are going to resign(not saying that we had bad picks in this draft). With all these misses that we won’t resign the money has to be spent in FA. We may not have cap space this year but we’re projected 48 next season and 120+ in 2020 so why not backload Robinson’s contract? We haven’t drafted enough good players that deserve to be resigned and until we do we should be doing this. Am I thinking about this the wrong way?
EDIT Robinson just signed with the bears lmao

Hate to burst everyone's bubble but Schefter just tweeted that Allen Robinson plans on signing with the Bears on Wednesday.

welp, better chance Calvin Ridley falls to us now. He really wanted to go to the bears too.
