2018 Free Agency

Anyone who doesn't have a homer bone in their body knows this is a bottom of the barrell team

I have 0 doubts that we'll be getting a top 3 pick next year. It's gonna be ugly folks..

IKR?
Let’s totally throw the towel in because we missed out on three players we weren’t gonna get anyways! Flawless logic. 10/10

It means u aren’t getting significant upgrades. More of the red tag declining cap cut baragain bin special same. So yes outside of hitting on a WR in the draft (LMAO)who is making a real difference on this team??

I was thinking the same thing. Daryl smith was the only guy. Rest of them were ok nothing special. I also think mosley is avg af! Said this a while ago but at the time people didnt see what i saw. Im all for picking up bowman to help out with what mosley is missing
Tbh i wouldnt agree nor disagree with that. I feel like it was like that willis and bowman situation. Yea willis was the man but bowman right there too
To be fair to others, the sentiment didn't always appear as firm. In reference to Orr against Mosley, the duo drew a Willis and Bowman comparison, with Mosley being Willis, which comes off as high praise.

Yeah I was confident every year til this one.
This looks worse than the 2015 offseason

I think the most disappointing thing is that while I never expected to get any of the top 3 WRs available, them being officially off the market pretty much confirms that we'll be doing the same thing once again this year - looking for an older cap cut and trying to skate by with other marginal talent at the position. Nothing has really changed unless they have a plan that none of us see coming. Even if you sign a Paul Richardson or Donte Moncrief at this point, it doesn't move the needle much.

U mean honesty not blinded by homerism??

If not signing Robinson/Landry/Watkins (or any other receiver whose annual contract value was roughly double the Ravens cap space) is the last string of people claiming honesty over homerism, then they frankly deserve 5 years of Eddie Royal.

Found cap space for Tony Jabronison and one dimension Williams.

The worst part is the told us they can make a splash and would make one. They told us they were going to overhaul the wr corps during the combine.

They shouldn't say that if they can't follow it up

Yep. Unless that splash is coming via trade that no one sees coming, it’s a letdown. But at the end of the day, they got themselves into this mess and they’ll feel the effects on the business if we get another middling product on the field.

Austin Howard’s option not being picked up - that creates a little space - I imagine though that Ozzie will maybe try and bring him back at a lower cost...

Did they actually say they’d make a splash?
From what I remember they just said that they needed to completely revamp the wr corps - said nothing about making a splash on premier free agent targets

Please correct me if I’m wrong but that’s how I remember it
