2018 Free Agency

Serious question. When's the last time this front office has given out a decent contract and that player has actually played up to or beyond those expectations? Maybe I'm forgetting someone, but I legitimately can't think of any in recent history. Please someone tell me I'm wrong

Since we only talking about decent contract then probably when they signed Daryl Smith, Austin Howard, Corey Graham,Steve Smith Sr,Mike Wallace,James Ihedigbo and etc

Daryl Smith was a good signing. But all them players are older patchwork players with declining skills signed to patch up a hole. Wasn’t Corey Graham signed as a special teams player that made strides as a defensive back. Mike Wallace was ok nothing special. I think he was referring to when was a player given a big contract and actually dominated like a franchise player. Tony Jabronison hasn’t played well. Weddle have one good year b4 slowing down like I said would happen. And Williams is solid but doesn’t dominate and is one dimensional. He sits on the bench during 2 minute drives.And if overrated Mosley is given money similar to Wagner we will watch a $12million a yr linebacker roasted in coverage and play average.

Yeah I'm not expecting anything but it seems like we're at least firmly in the hunt. Allbright has been reporting the Ravens interest since early this morning, and I've seen at least a couple other people mention interest anywhere from the casual to serious level. But then, you have Zrebiec saying he doesn't believe it's much of a possibility. It's all rumors at this point, but hey, that's what we live for until Wednesday.

i mean ill be honest - there's no way in hell we're not "interested" - the more pertinent question is whether we'll be making a competitive offer...

I at least like seeing our name in pretty much everything involving him. But as you said, to what level is that interest?

He said a decent contract. I wasn't sure if a big contract was up for debate but cool.

Hopefully we could add Allen Robinson to that. and begin a list of great game changer signings that Brought the throwing attack and team into the 21 century. If we got Robinson it would be the best day of being a ravens fan since the 2000 Super Bowl won over the giants
