At the same time, though, if that's what market value is now, you kind of have to pay it if you want to make improvements. Either that or learn how to draft a damn WR so none of this matters in the first place. It's a tough market and while contracts are high, you can't just sit on your hands and hope something works out either. It might not be something that's in the cards this year with a very tight cap, but it definitely has to be an adjustment next year whether they/we like it or not.

I wpuld hknestly just rather try my hand at the draft than to pay WRs all this money. WRs are overrated to a teams success anyways...

To an extent. But assuming Maclin gets the axe in the next couple of days, your #1 WR is currently Chris Moore. That’s a problem, no matter how overrated the position may be. And until they can actually draft a talented WR, you gotta do what you gotta do. Sucks but status quo certainly isn’t the answer.

We have other needs and the other positions in FA haven't been reaped yet. That's likely where we focus our efforts and we're probably better off for it.
