Next Up: Bye Week

Oldfaithful

Hall of Famer
"Wah.. Marty wasn't fired. Wah"

Jesus..
1. There are other things in life besides football.
2. We weren't going to. Harbaugh is not going to fire Marty at all until the seaons' end, and something tells me that we are going to keep Marty until Harbaugh goes down. "But we need to fire Harbaugh then"
3. Even during a bye week, firing the HC with no immediate replacement in mind would be incredibly foolish. At this point, the team is likely going to try to win the next few games(which are winnable), but reality is... We are probably going to end with either a 7-9 or 8-8 record.... Again.
4. Harbaugh is gone. As bad as Flacco's been, it's clear from the Pitta interview that Marty is doing his part to hold the team back... And Harbaugh is going down swinging in all likelihood.

But seriously. "This FO doesn't give a damn about the team because Marty and Pees are still here".
Yeah. Let's fire them both... With only one extra week to prepare. Almost no time to institute new schemes and concepts... With a struggling QB... With the injury bug..... And then come the offseason when both units make little to no improvements we'll be calling for the positional coaches who are the interims to be fired and then we will be starting this bullshit all over agian. It makes no sense to fire them right now. Wait till black Monday. It's the logical move. Literally the worst thing that comes out of it is a high draft pick.. Something we can use in a offensive class such as this one.
