Offensive Coordinator Thread

I’d fire Marty and if we didn’t go outside the organization then I’d be ok with Greg Roman because he can build a scheme that is best suited for the team. His scheme in San Fran used spread concepts. This is when Alex Smith finally started playing well. Marty needs to be gone, he is holding Flacco and this offense back

Greg Roman makes sense if he's keeping the offensive system in place but other than that I don't think it's doing Joe Flacco any good by hiring another offensive coordinator .

Well marty certainly isn’t an OC. We also need a qb coach. Why we don’t have one is beyond me.

Middle of the field will definitely be some choices.

Has anyone noticed that Flacco has no touch passes.......ever
And when Kubiak was here, he actually made use of Flacco not having touch in his throws. It's amazing what a good OC can build an offense around.

I'd be perfectly fine with ask Madden over Marty.
bad news. Marty hacked "ask Madden". We're fucked even more
I have an even better game. Have about 10-15 balls in a cage and play bingo. Each ball has one play design. Can’t be worse than what we are doing
We tried that with Cam Cameron... He replaced all 15 balls with end around plays.

*Jeremy Maclin becomes the NFL's leading rusher*.

I know that Craig Ver Steeg is Marty Mornhinweg assistant quarterback coach. I thought it made sense to make Ver Steeg the assistant quarterback coach since he does have plenty of experience working in a west coast offense before and the guy has been apart of The Ravens team since the first day John Harbaugh was hired. According Jeff Zrebric him and Joe Flacco are friends so I get John Harbaugh valuing familiarity and probably just hoping Joe Flacco come back better than ever especially with him being more 100 percent healthy. I don't think the coaching staff really thought Joe Flacco throwing mechanics and etc needed alot of work and probably thought most of his woes last year was due to him not being 100 percent healthy. I don't necessarily think Marty Mornhinweg is a bad offensive coordinator but what I don't get is that the passing offense was better last year than it is now so what really changed ?

defense studied the tap and noticed flacco loved the middle of the field.

now they roll coverage to the middle and force flacco to use the sidelines.

when he does passes go way out of bound or its a checkdown.

easy win lol

We were considered "Flacco Haters" for stating what he was showing on the field, yet, when we would break down plays of other players, maybe an Elam, no one would protest. BUT, there's always next year. Maybe his play might elevate him to the high teens range and consistent 200 ypg.

All jokes aside, we keep scrapping OCs and now everything is such a mess we can't tell:
A. what the wr corps actually looks like
B. How bad/good the OL is
C. How bad/awful Marty really is

I'd like to ask how many fans actually go back and watch the all 22 before just flat out saying the call is bad, the throw was bad, OL didn't block or that wrs aren't getting open? Serious question.

Nobody! It's just high fashion to hate on Flacco and I'm all in!

none of them do.

they all act like the OC has an controller and he presses the button to where the QB should throw to.
the OC also decides how hard the pass should be and when he decides its time to make the pass.
ow and the analog is apperently broken cause moving in the pocket is a foreign concept.
also lets not forget that the OC at times thinks he is playing NBA2k cause a fadeaway looks like a great idea at times.

at this point his extension might be the worst decision contract wise in ravens history.......

BTW i dont hate flacco at all.
he is what he is.

what i hate are all the double standards and bias people have towards him.

same people that have very low standards for him , demand udfa guys like hurst to play like an all pro or he should be cut ......
