Yes, it looks that way! I'm excited. I also think Oweh can add that weight differential without losing his explosion which makes him freakier than Clowney! With the Ravens, that is a scary proposition.

I see that somewhat - tbh though the only real comparison I see from college is their freaky athleticism...
the more I watch oweh, the more I think he’s gonna benefit from standing up and rushing from a 2-pt stance

Well clowney isn’t a Productive sack artist, but extremely disruptive and an elite run defender and he does it by just being an absolute freak athlete.
that’s where the comp stems from. We went after clowney hard so I take it we’re okay with a lack of production as long as we get a disruptive with good ground game.
oh I see - comp to clowney as a pro - I was thinking about him as the college prospect he was

What makes Danielle Hunter such an effective pass rusher in the NFL? He is 90% of Oweh where athleticism is concerned and wasn't ultra productive in college either...
If Oweh turns out to be a really good pick, we will see t-shirts that say

i dont remember what he was like as a college player but as an nfl pass rusher he's got tons of great traits...
he's athletic, explosive (not oweh fast but hard to be that freaky athletically - at least from a testing perspective - and i dont think hunter has the bend ability that oweh and others might have)
but he's super powerful - he's got lead bricks for hands on the end of freakishly long arms - and he knows how to use them really well and string moves together - he's relentless with his moves and will sometimes go through 3+ moves on a snap constantly countering and taking advantage of any weaknesses across from him - he's especially effective with his long-arm move and working off power
it certainly helped too that he was a high-effort, physical, athletic and effective run defender
he's long, strong, fast and powerful and he's knows how to use his hands to make the most of his gifts - my guess (albeit with no actual tape watching evidence for this) is that in college you'd find a lot of extra attention towards him and not a ton of counters in his repertoire

To me you described everything that Oweh can become and more. He has either the same length of arms as Hunter or marginally more. He is freakier as an athlete. All that is needed now, is for him to learn some pass rush counter moves and explode.
You guys continually compare OhmyGodweDidn'tdoThat to the wrong players. He aint close to a Clowney nor the others. The guy that follows is who you need to compare him to on physical skills.
