2022 General Draft Thoughts

If Cross falls to us and we take him, is he absolutely redshirting if Stanley is healthy? Is he competing at RT? Is he in play for LG in year 1?

You want your best 5 players on the line. If that's him then he plays somewhere. No way we are getting him though.
I really do think it's possible. Not necessarily probable at all. All that needs to happen is the 2 QBs taken in front and then any other 2 players. For instance I could see Olave being taken before 14 and say Stingley at 12 too leaving cross at 14.

There are lots of scenarios but I don't see it as something that is impossible

I don't disagree, just not a fan of speculating on low probability outcomes. That shit leads to heartbreak!

Well, this would ba a dream draft for the offensive line. You got a high end backup LT if Stanley can't go, a new starting LG, and a potential starter at C (or at least some real competition). Also, I don't get why Bryant is this far down on the big board. He seems great, if a bit overshadowed by Sauce.

I see they added punt god to the sim. Finally

Yeah Im only taking a Center at 14 if there is no team willing to trade up or all the top players are off the board.

Same. There's probably 12 guys in the first I'd take over him. He's not a bad player, but there's just a bunch of people I like a whole lot more. Also there's some decent C guys in the mid rounds. At least ones that can give some real competition for the spot.

also was not that impressive - tried to show his ability to change direction vs that pressure but did it at a jog so all he showed was the fact that in that scenario he's getting sacked 15 yards deep lol

pro day throwing is always dumb - the deep ball part of it is always the showy part (and always the big finish because you often working from shallower routes to deeper ones) but it's also the least meaningful - when we talk about arm strength and arm talent, yes part of it is about being able to throw the ball really far, but weak-armed QBs can throw nice deep balls, the real advantage guys with missiles for arms have is that they can fit the ball into tighter windows and get the ball in the 2-hole and beat the safety outside the numbers

Yeah @JAAM , Linderbaum can kiss my ass if Walker is STILL on the board by 14 LMAO.
Oh absolutely lol. I’d have a fucking mental breakdown if we took TL over Walker

only reason im not insanely annoying about obsessing over Walker everyday at this point is that post-combine it's become clear that he's not even making it close to the ravens

when i first put a huge top 5 type grade on him i thought he might be a guy i was gonna be higher on and that the ravens might have a chance at - but 2 months later everyone's caught up... show's over

Curious, did you think we had a chance at Williams?
