I expect him to be part of the 9th team and picked up by someone. But damn that's a big fall from being a 1st round pick in the NFL to cut by the XFL.

I read the article and seems kinda odd that he was cut right after a game where he led the team in tackles(12). Must have been something else going on there.

After the XFL ended due to COVID, it was essentially over. Now the XFL has new life once again as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has purchased the XFL for $15M with RedBird Capital Partners & his ex wife Dany Garcia.

Tomorrow we find out the future of the XFL and the vision Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has for the league.

So today is the debut of the XFL 3.0. It's been fun so far. Defense closer to watching college football than the NFL, and the whole experience is more up tempo.

So, technically it's the UFL now, but we got the first week of it over the weekend. The games were pretty good since tge teams are relatively evenly matched.

However there was one big thing to happen, Michigan Panthers' kicker, Bates, nailed two 64 yard field goals in a row. First one didn't count due to a time out. He got the equivalent of the second longest NFL FG back to back. That game is going to get him an NFL contract.
