The NFL Playoffs

Maybe KC, but Kaufusi is nowhere near how we will see him.

I understand you're in the "Fire everyone" mood though, so I'll back off.

Tbf off their college tape I still see Correa as having a higher chance than kaufusi of turning it around despite Correa being awful

Nah, I just want Harbaugh gone because I think he has his hands deep into how and who we draft since that SB win.

I remember reading that certain doctors expected his career to last for about three years before the problems began (or something to that effect). With the draft you never know, and Jack may yet have 20 more years of stellar play, but I can't blame the FO for being put off by his injury reports.
And if those reports hold up, the Jags would've only really gotten one year out of Jack, because I believe he spent most of his rookie season on the bench. (I could be wrong though)

you really think losses incurred over 2 months ago have any bearing in terms of the quality of the teams - we should have beaten the bengals but the fact that we arent in the playoffs doesnt delegitimise us being the better team... are you really arguing that the bills are the 6th best team in the AFC?

the ravens let themselves down but id find it hard to see how the ravens werent a better team than the titans, bills and jags at the end of the season and probably the chiefs too
No I don’t think the Bills or Titans are close to our level of play, all I’m saying is they won when we had too and we couldn’t. In that case, they were better this year. Surely we have way more talent, but we didn’t win when it mattered. I also think the Chargers were way better, but once again it doesn’t matter who’s better, it’s who wins when you need too. I think we lose that jags game 9/10 times in England and under those circumstances, but we should have beaten the titans we should have killed them. But we didn’t so we pay the price watching shitty wild card games

Wouldn't it then be a much simpler solution to just eliminate his draft influence instead of firing him? Even though we don't even know if he has all that much influence?

Every HC needs to have influence on the draft, that's a logical thing. It just seems to be too many nice guys as off late, not tough enough for what NFL requires. And the ones that look to have something, don't get to play much.

It wasn't a miracle, his knee could still be problems

and Spence only has 6.5 sacks over 2 years
Jack's knee was looking pretty good today (along with the rest of him). Spence significant contributor until he went down with injury. Showed major promise. What has Correa shown?

Forget Jack, Spence ... A potted plant would match Correas production. And if you think criticism begins and ends with that pick you are in denial.

Look I'm not a fan prone to knee jerk reactions. I feel like I've defended this coaching staff, front office and some of their more beleaguered players for quite sometime. It's been wearing thin and words defending them all are beginning to sound hollow.

Here is where you and I completely agree.

But I'll give them a bit of a pass for the "Nice guy" drafting. We've seen far too many examples of low character players becoming a cancer for their teams, even if they do occasionally pay off for others.

I am starting to feel a blowout is in the making. The Saints never take their foot off the grass pedal
It feels really surreal to see a Saints side that can control the LoS on both sides. And of course Brees is good enough to lead them all the way if enough things break their way. It's a shame the winner here gets the Vikings next week.

Saints can beat the Vikings and I expect them to.

I agree, because the Vikings and Saints are the two best teams not that Wentz is out for the season. The Saints offense does not know the meaning of playing conservative.

panthers being held to 3 with two and half minutes left... worst possible outcome pretty much once they got within scoring distance

aaaaaaaand.... saints are driving and we only just hit the 2 minute warning with 3 timeouts left and kamara wasnt even in the game yet...
