our starting qb was ruled out the morning of the game, still on rb4 and 5, still only have 2 starters on the OL.

Meanwhile the defense is missing multiple starters on the DLine, your starting CB (all pro) and both backup CBs to him and they still found a way to hold Chicago to 14 points. If injuries do not excuse the defense they do not excuse the offense and the defense held them to 14 points.
