2018 NFL Draft

Only 2 Jackson tapes watched so far. Jees, the DEs better maintain their outside leverage on our Ts cause if there´s man-coverage outside and we running slants there´s no LB who can get a good angle on him.
Ball placement is far from perfect but you give him someone like Tate or Ishmael who are great contested ball catchers and he is in full-troubles mode.
Really, really intriguing pick.
And the slant is Jackson's go to throw, so LB will have to respect that and stay honest in the middle.

And if it's zone? We got a 6'5 250 pounds guy who's going to crush those all day long.

Perfectly put. I´d prefer another 6´5 to the one you mentioned, but I´ll try to sleep over it a few more nights :D

Josh Jackson had to precede Lamar Jackson and a 25 year old tight end. Hurst has already played half of his NFL career.
Half his career? Assuming a 16 year career as potential - he should have been in the NFL at age 17?

All the crying over Hurst's age is silly. An optimistic view is that he's bypassing 2 or 3 years of being the TE who barely sees the field as he waits for his body to mature, as happens with the vast majority of TEs that come into this league.

Maxx was 20 when we drafted him. He still isn't NFL ready (and maybe never will be).

Think I might sleep it out. So much of round 2 to go through and a lot of players i want that will obviously go before we can pick.
