He has a nose for the ball carrier and is a good tackler. Even if he's not a great safety, he can make the team as a special teams' ace.

Harbaugh did say he would start training camp on PUP. It’s quite possible he is on pup when the yr season begins.
I'll predict Darious Williams makes the team. It's crazy to me that he went UDFA. He's athletic, fluid, feisty, versatile and very instinctive. He has everything needed to succeed.

nope and i doubt we will do - but id have guessed wed have kept mclellan if it had been expected to linger long

Yeah at this point it’s obviously not a season ender or anything. It’d suck if he missed several weeks because of this though, which is definitely a possibility.
We would not hear about it unless the media asks about it and the media has not had any access to Harbs since the game Thursday.

In terms of mclellan the other thing worth mentioning is that we saved money by cutting him so I wouldn’t count out us re-signing him later for the vet minimum at some point
