that truly hasn't been the case until last night when he had 9 receptions. Coming into last week he had 22 rec in 7 games where OBJ has had 14 rec in 4.5 games. Has Davis done better. Yes he has but OBJ is the 3rd option in this offense whereas Andrews is number 2 here. Buffalo also passes the ball a shit ton more than we do.

If we're talking about receiving as a whole the bills have knox whos a top 10 tight end, along with a good rookie in kincaid, its not like Davis is getting force-fed there

who has a higher pff grade? if gabe came to baltimore he'd be no.2 over aghlor something obj isn't

I got to 11 TEs before I even considered Knox and i emphasize the word consider. TE is also the position where I think the gap between top 3 (Kelce, Kittle, Andrews) and 9/10 is larger than any other position in the NFL. There just are not a lot of very good TEs in the NFL right now.

How many games has OBJ played and how many games as Agholor played?

He's #2 based on being on the field more, not based on output.

On a per game basis... Knox was 17th in YPG and 17th in receptions among TEs last year. He's in the Tyler Higbee range.
He's about on the same level this year. He's the 2nd best TE on his own team.

Just off the top of my head...

Engram
Waller
Andrews
Goedert
Ertz
Njoku
Kittle
Schultz
Kmet
Kincaid

Nobody takes Knox over any of those guys. And I'm being generous. He has a strong chance to not be on the Bills next year.

actually hasn't outproduced. OBJ has slightly better per-game metrics. Again, has to be factored into your analysis.

Also odd to label Knox as a top 10 TE if availability is a part of your analysis. Think you need to do a better job at applying that consistently.

Feels like this is more of a fantasy football-type analysis vs a real life football-type analysis.

So first lets do something simple and see how the team views their WR pecking order and while this is a somewhat imprecise method we can simply look at how many targets each player got last game (I can do game 1 and 2 as well considering that is when all were healthy but that tells the same story).

Flowers: 6 targets 4 catches
OBJ: 3 targets 2 catches
Bateman: 3 targets 2 catches
Agholor: 1 target 1 catch

We could repeat this for game 1 and it shows the same thing and going forward that is probably the ratio you are going to see because that is how the team views them. It should be noted both in game 1 and last game that OBJ saw his targets earlier when the game was relatively closer. Basically the team knows who they want to feed the ball to. Flowers is dynamic so they try to get him as many touches as possible and then OBJ and Bateman are the teams next 2 WRs with of course Andrews being the 2nd highest priority target (for the game he also had 6 targets 4 catches).

Should have coasted to a win. Duv fumbled. Lamar bone headed int then Lamar fumbled again.

Am I trippin or was the Duv fumble a different game. I don't know why I swore there was a ST fumble late in that game
