Lamar Jackson

He needs to hit the weight room for sure if they’re going to run him and for him to survive in general. I don’t want him to gain too much and make him slower but enough to absorb hits in and out of the pocket. Arm strength? I feel like he has the arm strength—he just isn’t or wasn’t very accurate throwing deep. I’ll go back and look though maybe I’m wrong
I mean it might not even be strength, the way he throws it just isn’t going to drive the ball well regardless so maybe his arm is fine, but he either needs to change his throwing motion to drive the ball or increase his arm strength, or heck why not
Both? And just a little extra padding for the hits he’s going to take, even if he doesn’t run the ball 25 times a week he’s going to get hit a lot.

When it’s in the playoffs and results in a Super Bowl win, yes it is. Especially when it’s a record setting performance.

No its not.

4 games are not better then a full season regardless of the team end results.

unless you want to argue that flacco also played defense and special teams and thus solely deserve full credit for the team results?

If he just played a small role it’d be different. He led the team with a 11TD 0INT performance over 4 games and against three very good teams and 2 HOF qbs. The defense and special teams in two of those games actually were more detriments than helpful.

Would you seriously rather Joe had a Regular Season MVP on his resume and no Super Bowl win??

That was great. Historic.

What exactly did he do after pocketing nine figures contract?

ITT

Flacco "haters": Logical reasons why Flacco needs to go such as inconsistent play over his entire career, he hasn't shown any improvement, ranks in the bottom half of the league for QBs, etc.

Flacco supporters: BUT MAHHHH SUPER BOWL

The defense was detriment against Brady and Manning?

Manning had 3 TD 2 INT and 2 Fumble with 1 lost.
1 int was a pick 6 and the other int set up the game winning FG in OT .

Brady had 1TD and 2 INT and was shutout the 2nd half.
The defense forced 3 total turnovers that game and gave up 13 points.

Both where home games for those HOF QBs.

Without the defense in those game there would be no SB victory period.
They are much apart of the SB as flacco and the offense.
Ps: Let not forget JT hitting that FG in OT or all th other kicks he made.

I would rather have a QB that knows how to play good for a full season rather then 1 who only shows up for 4 games.

Defense was great vs Colts and Pats. Vs Broncos and 49ers defense and special teams made lots of mistakes.

The way he throws most def makes it look like his arm strength is weak af. Looks like weird af tbh

Lmao this is too funny.. everyone true feelings about
Flaccos game coming to light after ive been the lone wolf since this board was made lol.. even predicted the fact that once flacco times was up will people then finally realize how below avg he is

Ok then what mechanically does he still need to improve on? I know he needs to come along further but I thought he was a lot further along than I expected and mechanics weren’t part of the issue at all to me. That’s what I was trying to ask instead of saying you implied he can’t throw, i definitely read and responded wrong lol

It's all good my man. lol

I'm not saying that he's not further along either. Again, for the record; I thought Lamar played very well! However, for me, mechanically, I'd like to see less of that sidearming. It doesn't mean that he can't throw but I want him to improve on that range of motion. IMO, sidearming is a low and awkward range of motion pass. As you mentioned but hate to hear, IMO, that was one of the main reasons for hitting the O-lineman in the back of the head. He also threw a sidearmed pass that went wayward and behind Moore who just happened to make an incredible catch.

I have NO DOUBT that Lamar will further improve on what is already a pretty solid base in his skills. I'm looking forward to seeing it!

So did the offense so what is your point?

I love how people say the defense shit the bed in the SB not mentioning the offense only put up 6 points second half. Both sides played well with Flacco finally carry his share of the weight consistently. I truly respect his post season run but why is that the only time his defenders want to use stats. Other than that it's some eye test, excuse ridden bullshit pulled from a giraffes ass for why his numbers dont compare.

And it is funny cause I remember the barrage of hate we got for calling it what it was years ago. @29BmoreBird22 was a soldier too. And it honestly isn't even about being right but the fact it took people this long. People were denying it like someone in an abusive relationship. As the bad seasons piled up we heard another "I fell down the stairs" logic behind it.

Hey Raven fans do you guys think if you had Rodgers would you have a lot of Superbowls?

This is not the time... lol

Yes

Not if we drafted him but were able to trade for him. Truth is he probably doesn't turn into the bad man under our staff.
