These sports fans are casuals, the lowest common denominator of sports fans that the majority of analysts cater to because about highlights and hot takes. Garbage. It's for this very reason why I try to click on comment sections of Ravens related posts from Bleacher Report or other sports accounts. Don't waste your time with them. This is actually one of the main reasons why I joined the forum at BR.com and flocked to this site during the great migration (lol).

Hope he balls for the Pro Bowl because you no the crowd is waiting for him to fail. Could also go a long with bringing in vet guys if they see how he plays in practice and the game. Will actually be watching for the first time in a long time and expect decent ratings. People will either be watching to saw they were right whichever side they're on.

Shit lol....I wasn't even thinking about it like that. It was more so a play on words of birds in a flock flying together in this case to another site. But yeah.........shit LMAO.

makes even less sense because it would be very easy to make it self-sustaining (if it wasnt already) - and it cost them nothing to keep it... and even better they get to control the largest non-social media platform of ravens fans - it doesnt matter that the metrics said that facebook and twitter were better places for engagement (look how stupid that facebook take was lol) because doing one doesnt preclude you from doing the other but heyho they went from a moderated platform to only the unmoderated wilds where all of their posts are now covered in replies that all have the 'that's my qb' gif, 'not bad for a running back' meme or other teams's fans posting '0-2' - like twitter's awesome for lots of things (and horrifying for others) but there's a reason i still use this forum

Precisely. Their reasoning was completely nonsensical. It would be understandable if the fans on the forum were out of control, moderation being meaningless, etc but no....it was totally fine. Facebook sports fans are disastrous and Twitter isn't much better but whatever. I don't even bother with the website anymore so I don't know what their comment sections are like. Based on your assessment, I'm not overly surprised.

When it comes to our beloved Ravens, I really could care less what other non-Ravens fans have to say anyways unless they make their way onto this forum. While I personally welcome fans of every other team in the league, I have no time to read troll posts. If I did, I'd go on social media to do so.
