Lamar Jackson

I was fine with Mahomes until he started his Brady-esqe whining for flags when defenders fell near him. That was not a problem Sunday, as few defenders got particularly close to him, unfortunately.

That is yet another thing to really like about Lamar. He doesn't whine. Occasionally even gives props to a defender who makes a play.

I only hate Mahomes because I hate having to play against him. But otherwise, he’s a good dude. Plays the game with integrity. Has fun. Hard to hate him for any reason other than him being so damn good. And maybe his voice.
His fiancé and brother are pretty easy to dislike. But then again I even think his fiancé gets too much hate, yeah she’s annoying af, but really she’s just a super supportive down from day one chick, mfs hate because they still daydream about impregnating Instagram hoes and don’t know shit about a loyal woman

This is way overblown, he’s done it a few times, nowhere close to Brady lol.

Just ridiculous!

I agree with this. I want to hate mahomes, but I can’t, why should I? He routinely makes the most incredible throws you’ll ever see, he’s a FIERCE competitor, his attitude is never anything but excellent.

I can’t think of 2 better qbs to take the “faces of the league” title from Brady and Peyton, than Lamar and pat.
Agree. I like Mahomes just as you do. Now Brady when he was with BB I couldn't stand. Now that he is with the Bucs I don't mind him at all. I think it was hating the Patriots more than Brady himself. I'm sure some of you disagree.

On the contrary, I (B)(L)(A)tantly (C)an thin(K) of a reason why some (and I mean SOME) people hate or overcriticize Lamar. In terms of fanbases, I think the ones who hate Lamar the most are Titans fans, Browns fans, Bengals fans (understandable), and to an extent Chiefs fans.

I fucking love Tampa Brady and I want Belichick expelled from the league for hiding this gem from us for 20 years

A lot of his criticisms are VERY thinly veiled and they usually come from people who’s profile pics are Oakley clad truck selfies

i missed that

sidenote: the manning cast has mostly been a much more interesting way to watch the games

I used to say that having Ed Reed was so unfair as he was like having two players on the field. We should have been penalized for two many men on the field during his time. I feel the same way with Lamar.

If the post starts with “this Lamar fella” than I automatically discount it and refuse to read the next remarks because it’s purely speak from the ass

Just got a notification that Lamar missed practice today with a hip injury. Lamar blames it on his flip in the end zone the other night. Is this a story to watch, or is this just a typical rest day after a hard played out game?

Also, I absolutely hated the flip. I'll go on record as saying that. He lands awkwardly, with the luck (or lack of luck) we're having with injuries this year that could be a much worse injury. I'm thinking a potential broken arm or even a neck injury if he landed funny. I'd much rather him not ever do that again to be honest. And I don't care who does it or who doesn't do it in the league, that's not my prerogative here. Do not put yourself in any more harm's way than you already have to.

we'll see what the injury report says but from the way lamar was joking about it yesterday i doubt it's anything
