Lamar Jackson

I really can’t understand the ideas 105.7 has about Lamar Jackson… Bob Haynie “if Lamar has an 87 passer rating forget about it, if he plays like he did in 19 and 20 he’s gonna get paid big” along those lines…

2020 was an inferior season for Lamar to 2021, this narrative is fucking stale, Lamar was on pace to have a better season than 2019 with less to work with, and then the Miami game happened.
Those are absolute, unadulterated morons and subliminal haters that are envious (in a bad way) of Lamar's success.

the thing pulling down his 2021 passer rating is the 16-13 td-int ratio and while that's not great, it's contextless and silly to use that to justify an opinion about his level of play with no offensive line and receivers coming in and out of the lineup

Exactly. Some of his picks were mad stupid but he was carving teams up with his arm and he did it with a trash run game and no protection

he also had a few dropped TDs (i love you hollywood but you dropped like 4 TDs in 2021... he probably only had like 8 drops all year but like 2/3 of them were like bombs/tds lol) and a few of the INTs were not on him either like the pick 6 vs the chiefs where watkins slipped

105.7 are a bunch of morons. When I heard the Bisciotti selling the team narrative being pushed and then confirmed it was bogus, I was even more in disbelief. They are idiots of the highest matter and are just pot stirring trolls. They cater to their audience though to stir up controversy so whatever but they are definitely not a source for info

Jason LaCanfora, more like “Jason La CanFuckhimself”

Excuse my language kids

there's a reason that we normally asterisks out *** when he's mentioned lol

I listen to them to fill blank space lol and I can rarely listen for more than ten minutes, theyve always been awful, I used to complain that they ONLY talked baseball all year long because they were the orioles flagship station and the ravens belonged to 98 rock, nowadays though they just talk out of their asses constantly, they must be desperate competing with content creators, because there’s a lot of quality football content on YouTube these days

Yeah we’re still struggling with receivers turning receptions into turnovers and touchdowns into incompletions. it’s been a ravens curse for a very long time no matter who the receiver is.

The mark andrews int vs the Steelers and the honey badger endzone int are the 2 that REALLY stand out for me, those were egregious but honestly Lamar was having by far his best year as a passer

in the toughest conditions, with the least help he's had since being a raven, he put the team on his back and got us to 8-3 and the 1 seed in the AFC through nearly 2/3 of the season

Lol despite all the primetime mvp performances people STILL don’t acknowledge this.

Lamar will never get his due respect, but he will be holding a Lombardi one day.

It's why Bisciotti loses me when he said he didn't think we necessarily deserved to be 8-3. Like did we forget about the 2015 season where damn near every game came down to the wire?

The way I see it? We were DUE for a winning season where the majority of our games came down to the wire.

That’s fair but I see where he’s coming from. We didn’t feel like a first seed but that’s what we were.

i think he was more saying that we were lucky to be 8-3 because of the close games (and as others have said those sorts of stats often regress to the mean which is kinda what happened in the 2nd half of the season with the close losses)

but it does show that in close games, someone with the quality that lamar has can make all the difference

yes we didnt quite convert the 2pt against the steelers but no way lamar doesnt see his boy marquise in the back of the endzone against green bay

God I love Mina

Looks like he might take the Flacco route
