Ehh.
1. He's not a top passer, and if he didn't run as well as he did, nobody would give him top passer money. He's a top QB, not a top passer. Deserves to be paid as a top QB.
2. Through 6 weeks he was on pace for over 500 attempts this season, which is considerably more than most rookies would throw, and the ones that did also tended to lose a gigantic number of games. His 16 attempts last week are obviously a glaring outlier that isn't going to continue in that range going forward.
3. His per game rush attempts are, so far this season, the lowest of his career. And by a considerable margin. He's below 10 carries a game, which he's never been at.
He's on pace to shatter his rushing records mostly because a) he's being way, way, way more efficient as a runner (he's up almost 2 yards/carry over last year, and a full 1.5 yards over his lifetime average) and b) he's likely to play more games than he has in prior years.

We can say anything we want about his contract demands and all that nonsense, but end of day, if Lamar stops running, nobody on this planet is giving him the Watson deal. If he's even running like 4-5 times a game nobody on this planet is giving him the Watson deal.

Its significantly more likely to me that somebody in Lamar's camp would leak this instead of the Ravens leaking it.

So that he can use it as leverage. How does it benefit the Ravens to publicly acknowledge their franchise QB is unhappy? Anybody out there using this info and taking the Ravens side for it?
 
I don’t think anybody leaked anything. It’s posturing from a guy that is known to say whatever for the sake of clicks and views.

I agree. I'm highly confident it's totally made up.
I was mostly trolling a bit and pointing out that the Ravens FO leaked something like this makes the absolute least amount of sense in all possible scenarios. It, in no way, would boost the public's opinions of the Ravens decisions in this negotiation.

Yes, the report is about Lamar being unhappy he didnt get a fully gaurunteed contract and is now sulking and is late to meeting and pratice. If this came from Lamar's camp I imagine it would mention Hollywood being traded and Greg Roman. Also I doubt Lamar camp would bring up his mom being his agent. Seems ridiculous to speculate that Lamar's camp ( He doesnt even have a camp) would leak this when he has kept everything in house.

Ok , I didn't know yall knew each other. This forum doesn't have a lot of traffic and I notice some members that used to post here left to RSR.
Could be because some of yall drove them out (generally speaking, not you).
I've seen the comment here about the posters over there not being "intelligent " and from what I've seened some posters are very well informed. Could swear Rmcjacket has a twin over there.

Anyways good to see new members on here is all.

some of them did leave for RSR and some of them were driven out by former members, but none of the current active members.

There are a few well informed members at RSR, but a lot of them are reddit type posters.

This is absolutely a smaller forum, but a more family like atmosphere.......for the most part. Yes, RMC used to post at RSR, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't post there anymore @rmcjacket23

I occasionally post over there, but not that often.

I came here pretty much with the gang that used to post on the OG forum at BR.com ( dang its been a long time). I was mostly a lurker here and not that active until recently.

Who started this site by the way?

And literally everything you said here is 100% true of the Ravens organization also.

Seems ridiculous to speculate really any of this is true, but fans being unintelligent is the norm, so they'll need to take ownership of that.

I was never on RSR. I was on BR.com. Got perma-banned by MomGene, the world class [profanity deleted] that she is. I've spent collectively about 15 mins browsing RSR and Reddit forums before. Took me half that time to realize it wasn't a group I wanted to be discussing the Ravens with.
