We should have had a backup plan for putting a better WR between Bateman and the others down the depth chart this season, but I will never fault the Ravens for trading Hollywood when they did. If any other team does that and makes the Playoffs - limping in or not - and had the two players drafted with the picks gained from that trade playing, and playing like studs, everyone here would have been green with envy. I find it funny/strange that the gain from Hollywood's trade is never mentioned when we circle back to the weak WR room discussion. The long game of that trade is/was WAY more beneficial than keeping Hollywood for another year only to lose him to FA. Other than the weakness of the WR group, there were also injuries at WR and TE and RB and ultimately QB - our offense was injured. Add in Roman, as @redrum52 points out, and you have what we witnessed, lackluster offensive performance.
