I don't want to have this conversation, but in the crazy circumstance that Mac is a Raven next year, do we believe that we could compete with him if we added a DHop?

Does this extremely good defense plus

Mac
JK, Gus, Hill
Mandrews, Likely, Kolar, Ricard
DHop, Bateman, Agholor, Rookie, Wallace etc
Stanley, Cleveland, Linderbaum, Zeitler, Moses

Have a chance to win a SB?
Patriots also have consistently excellent defenses, and they are right on par with us as far as trash receivers go, and they blow us out of the water on the coaching front, and the patriots have been garbage at best since drafting Mac.

So no I’d say no chance to win a sb

That's a strong argument right there

Every time there's anything in the media posted about Lamar it makes us have to consider world's without him. And those worlds are so horrible

I just wish we could have a conversation without it turning into some bullshit.

I for one think that we can compete without any issues like we always have depending on the haul we get back for Lamar IF we trade him. We would ironically bring in the receivers we needed to bring Lamar in that scenario.

Ngl I think Harbaugh has assembled his best coaching staff yet - at least on offense

im sorry but im not rooting for a team led by a QB called McCorkle...

I keep seeing people say Lamar won’t play on the tag and I’m curious why? Kinda seems like playing on the tag is his only real option if his ask is more guaranteed than Watson. Doubt the Ravens match his ask and sitting out doesn’t help him at all

It doesn't really make sense for him too. I do think he'll probably show up late but the only way he's getting the money he wants is to put out a quality product on the field. Otherwise, he's just damaging his earnings potential because there can be 2 more years of this shit and doing this for that long isn't going to help.

His value has gone down by not being able to finish the past two seasons no way he doesn't play on the tag. Missing another season will hurt him even more.

We saw what happened to Le’Veon Bell. Total contract value looked great but he suffered greatly on the guarantees that he was offered originally

I’m curious and hopeful he swallows his pride and realizes the Ravens deal is his best bet. But I can see him being stubborn and playing on the tag. Either way I think we’re in a good spot

If this is correct , Lamar was a fool for not taking the deal. Apparently the Ravens have withdrawn the offer too.
So this is the deal we’ve been talking about for a couple weeks. The only thing new I see is “ the offer is no longer on the table”. I find that hard to believe. Ravens are professionals, pulling a deal after it’s been offered is amateur hour. Just doesn’t seem like them…. I’m sure if Lamar wants it , they’d take him

From 3yr 133 to 4yr 175 and you decline? Idk if i can believe he did that shit lol
Was the same deal we've been talking about for like a month now. Not new info or a new offer. The original deal was always 5/250, 133 fully gtd (in first three years), 175M in injury guarantees. And yes, he turned that down.
