Per snapchat, Jimmy Smith is back on the field. Safe to say it's as a limited participant but that's still surreal. We weren't even sure he could be available at the start of the season...

I would suppose so but what for? Maybe Wink want him to be a better run defender at the expanse of his abilities in coverage.

It's pretty weird that there are almost no reports except for the Lamar + Joe packages. Like, okay that's cool but what else is happening?

I definitely dont think Wink is going to have him dropping into coverage as much as Pees did.

I wouldn’t say he really looks bigger, fanny pack around his stomach doesn’t help lol. He lost weight last year but never looked not big

Rosburg said they plan to have more "fast" guys(he mentioned WR, RB and TE's) active on gameday because of the new kickoff rules. He also mentioned they don't have any DL's on kickoff teams. I expect them to carry only 5 on the roster, in the past it was mostly 6-7.

That one is interesting because Humphrey was listed as an EDGE and we have I believe 3 pure ILB in the UDFA haul, so to put him before those 3 seems strange.

He might have done something to really catch the coaches' attention.

Wink was big on Chuck Clark in his press conference. Guess we should expect to see a lot more of him this year.
