Yes- and to those people, I demand an immediate answer of who we’d replace them with. If they can’t answer right away, then obviously they’re wrong

The defense is at full strength and can be elite. Just for the love of God don't throw the game away every 2nd and 4th quarter.

If the defense can keep itself from blowing leads, and if we can run the ball we'll be a fun team to watch again. Maybe can win a playoff game.

the defence has been really great at forcing negative plays

needs to be better closing - im not sure what's going wrong in those situations - looks like a bunch of things but its a consistent systemic failing and those sorts of things do need to fall at the feet of the coordinator

if this team can close then we're looking at a sup'ed up version of the 2020 playoff team that made it to the playoffs and we got our first playoff win - running game and defence with Lamar as superman - this team's better than that team and healthier too (Lamar willing)
 
Well, nice win! We're 9-4 baby! Wow! Unfortunately, Snoop went down today but Dobbins and the run game were sweet to watch. Missed him and Gus balling out together as a major 1-2 punch combo. I know that we didn't need it to beat these bums today but for me personally? I'd love to see more downfield passing with our WRs being thrown into the mix to open these games up more. Our offense still has to learn how to score more than 1 TD per game in the red zone when they have a lead on their opponents.

I totally agree!! People like to make their snooty comments about criticizing the coordinators, but it's exactly what you said here. It falls at this man's feet to fix the extremely apparent singular issue his unit has. It's just unfortunate its a very important problem.

Lamar has to get healthy, but if he can get some help from his run game (he really never had that this year) him as superman with a run game and stout defense can maybe win some meaningful games.

i get why the receivers generally (including our TE group) were quiet today for obvious reasons
it would be game-changing if Isaiah Likely could come on strong and start stacking performances down the stretch and become a bigger part of the offence

Again totally agree. If Roman can maximize the effectiveness of the run game going forward that with Lamar being Lamar gives our offense its best chance to reach its current highest potential.

Defense needs to maximize its ability to close.

Those should be the two focuses of the team for the rest of the year

Bet Harbs can’t wait to get rid of Peters. That, combo with his play this season.. That’s why I’m leaning CB lol.

The only game I'll give the defense blame was 19 against the Titans. Besides that they've basically been lights out in the post season.
