The Running Game, The Mess and The Greg Roman

What pisses me off the most wasn’t that we struggled passing the ball, or that we executed poorly, but that we had 2 facets of the game working fantastically well (run game and defense) and decided not to lean on either one!

The defense wasn't good though. If we were playing against Brissett we lose by a LOT more

i still dont think a lot of what people have complained about through the season is on him in the way that others do

but i think this and some of the other stuff the last couple of weeks is completely indefensible and actively self-destructive and clearly is holding the team back

Like playing 10 guys on the first drive lol?? This is what we've (generally speaking) complained about. He doesn't stick to what's working, or sticks to what is not working lol. He's situational game calling is putrid. It's like there's no deviation to his game plan no matter what he's not going to adjust.

Anyone recall which game cause us to fire Cameron? Also how bad was that game? Lol. Could it have been worse than the one today?
Pretty sure it was the lost to the Redskins that did it. And yeah, that offense was much better than some of this year's games.

It's actually mind blowing how good this team was at running the ball tonight. That good with ZERO threat of Tyler hurting them with his legs. Like what a good OL and RB room. You have Andrews and Likely. You have Lamar.

Ffs EDC you couldn't make one fucking real addition to the WR room? What a blown opportunity

This team as a whole has been getting worse since that 2019 season, which is really starting to look like a fluke. If our strength of schedule was slightly higher we'd be at the bottom with the Steelers.

At this point we badly need a full rebuild. We can't do the same stuff over and over and expect a better result. Fire Harbs and most of his staff (some of the position guys are fine). Trade Lamar, Andrews, and Queen for as many picks as possible for a new HC to get his guys for the offense.

Note, not putting blame on Lamar, but we aren't rebuilding around that contract. This team needs a fresh start, not bandaids.

i get the idea that you'd want to start fresh with coaches and set-up

but you dont get better by trading away superstars... especially when they're still in their mid-20s and should be with the team their whole careers... that's just self-defeating

if you want to rebuild then you offload the expensive older vets with bigger contracts, trade away guys who you're not going to pay (PQ is the kind of guy that might fit that bill) but this is exactly the time you can pay lamar whatever he wants and suck for a year and not backload the deal the way you might have if you werent rebuilding so that it's cheaper in the future - there's no reason that contract should stop us from being one of the best teams in the league for years

Proche is as worthless as tits on a bull .

0 percent chance he’s on the team next year.

Roman though decided to have two critical 4th down pass plays to Proche who has been the most worthless Raven this year by far. Well maybe he’s in the running with Oweh .
