I don't think it's about the size. It's just that everyone else can seemingly work out there situations except us. Jones is the only other guy not settled

Given the team’s history in paying the guys they believe deserve it, my feeling is it’s on whoever is counseling Lamar.
It’s all conjecture but I highly doubt the Ravens have not given LJ a deal that is very reasonable. Ravens have shown to be fair to their star players but also strictly don’t over pay. I think LJ wants that fully guaranteed contract

It goes both ways. I totally agree that the Ravens history is making people they like the highest paid at their position. They've done it many times. Thinking that they may not think Lamar is that guy

If lamar was the best qb in nfl they would likely give him whatever it is he wants…but then again i was told that basically all the top 7 qbs are equal in talent

Probably gun shy after being held hostage with the last qb contract they gave out.
LJ doesn't have a agent. The Ravens have always been known to sign players they really want but most of those players had a agent. I bet it's pretty challenging to negotiate with a player at basically the most important position of the team when that player does not have a agent. It's not even clear if LJ even has a solid or better representation to back him up regarding this matter. All we know is that his mom and NFLPA are the two figures in his corner regarding this matter. We really don't know if he's getting good advice or not on what to accept.
I think that's what's interesting about this situation. I think it's even more interesting that the NFLPA has even volunteered to be a part of this because I'm not sure if this ever happened with other players in the past before. I'm not saying LJ isn't a good businessman though but it also not hard to kind of think that maybe just maybe LJ needs better help. But we shall see I hope he's staya a Raven but if he's traded then it's understandable
