While they have issues, I don't think Gruden is one of them. They've had solid gameplans. The players have kinda sucked, especially on defense. Even with Mack, that defense would be awful.

They usually get away with it because Brady bails them out. But I think he doesn't really have the weapons to do that this time around.

Even if he did have the weapons, thats no way to be a football team. Defense shouldn't be optional

It's early yet, but have always said Gruden has been resting on the laurels of an ancient Superbowl win with somebody else's team. Not unlike Harball.

When Gruden took Tim Tebow aside for personal instruction and claimed to the world that Tebow was ready to be a starter in the NFL, that was about the last straw.

We'll find out Sunday, but don't think Denver is very good. We'll have to win to hold our place in our division with Pittsburgh really missing LeVeon Bell. Thank the Lord for helping us with Pittsburgh....AMEN

Seems to be an american sports trope, inflated contracts that last forever, especially in the NHL.

That actually might be a better reason to pass on a QB next year. Eli is playing like is career is over. Quenton Nelson would have been the better pick in hindsight over Barkley. Next week the Giants and Texans play each other to see who wants to win more.

The difference is the raiders had a gm who was making decent draft picks and building the team nicely - Gruden hasn’t just come in as a coach he’s also running the personnel side

So you put the best coaching staff together and they’re like much better than this raiders team because they wouldn’t have purged all the talent on the roster

Raiders had one of the worst drafts last year which included obi who was a clear scrub from the get.
