I will gladly admit that I was wrong. But his college tape sans a few games was terrible. The player I see now vs. the player in college are night and day. Usually projects like Kenny never go our way.. Well look at how they are now.

Up and down. He seemed to set the edge well again in his few snaps doing it. I he had a good stunt inside that drew a hold(if I’m thinking of the right play, he definitely drew a hold but I can’t remember if he edge rushed or stunted) but I didn’t see him win the edge in a lot of the snaps I recall. And one key play that went for a completion late I saw him get totally lost, he brought the rush and then started to stunt inside and then backed up and shuffled and really just got lost, and it’s a shame because his side of the line was wide open tending to the inside which was bringing pressure

important to note that he consistently drew double teams off the edge which i think tells you that even if our coaches wont give him respect that other teams OCs respect his ability to get around the corner quickly
 
Kenny Young next to CJ has me so excited as a tandem. They complement each other so well. I think Young is the type of fast, attacking ILB we needed to help cleanup a lot of plays against the run. He has the athletic ability to finish a lot of plays that just weren't finished last year.

Agree completely. If he's next to CJ for a year he will get pro bowl looks.

MLB's also tend to get the award, that being said, Ward is the starter on the Browns and Young just had his first started. That being said, it is going to be fun to watch him improve this year. It's definitely surprising, because the tape I watch on Young at UCLA showed how bad he was in run defense and the knock on him was that he wasn't instinctive.

Young is always around the ball and his speed from sideline to sideline is damn quick
 
Haven't seen anybody point that out but the biggest difference for me this season is how deadly we are in the red zone - I think we scored every single time when we got within 20y. Very impressive.
 
The good:
-The efficiency of this offense ESPECIALLY in the first half
-The fact that we're able to move the ball down the field without a running game
-Mark Andrews
-VALIANT effort by the defense after the first few possessions from DEN's offense
-The amount of penalties/penalty yards that DEN accumulated
-Winning on Harbs birthday. Happy birthday Harbs!

The bad:
-Running game.....AGAIN. Folks, we've missed the playoffs every season our running game is subpar at best
-S/T. Now usually our S/T is the one putting that work in, but hey, every one has a bad day
-Run defense wasn't bad per se, but it wasn't great either...just eh. Take away that 35-yard end around and their total rushing yards isn't that high
-Judon's "block in the back." You can always count on Judon or ZDS to do some fuckshit
-Brandon Carr wasn't bad either, but dammit he finds a way to piss me off easily lol and it isn't all his fault either.

Yup. Now that he can shed blocks with that freakish athleticism... The dude is a pro bowler. If he had Mosley's brain I'd argue he's better but nope.

This defense is a top 3 unit at full health. And the offense is good now too..

I’m not so sure, our edge contain is looking like it will give us a lot of trouble, and the fact that we apparently need pierce and bwill both to consistently stop the run up the middle is troubling as well because now we’re gonna have to either sub or just concede any chance of pressure up the middle on passing downs. Our pass rush is still very suspect. And I’m still worried terribly about the OL/run game. It got better towards the end, but man I just can’t buy into a ravens pass heavy offense until I see it win us games for a while.

I think we look like a good team and with jimmy, Mosley, Henry, and hurst returning we should take a huge leap forward, but until I see us beat a team that is legitimately good I’ll struggle to buy in completely. I don’t buy the Broncos. If we were able to beat cinci, I’d be all in right now, but that loss is lingering in my head lol

Cinci is a bad team overall, they just have our number. Stop lingering on it and get over FFS. Sometimes the better team doesn't win and honestly, Denver is a better team
