The Hamilton, The Injuries and The Self-Inflicted Wounds

Also Lamar has to stop fumbling.
He can’t take that sack. Gotta know when to get rid of it in time

However I'm very happy with our secondary. Decimated, no consistent pass rush and young. Yet they don't allow big plays apart from one 50/50 ball today.

What’s crazy is that he took that terrible sack and then threw us back I to the game when he hit Nelson

That was a terrible game by our oline. Even ignoring the amount of pressure that Indy generated with only 4 rushers, the fact that we were routinely failing to generate any movement in short yardage run plays with an additional tackle on the field and Ricard is embarrassing. Also fuck those incompetent refs, we would have won the game if they called either those two blatant penalties they missed

The fumbling has been the most concerning thing to me. Can’t put the ball on the ground that many times and expect to get it back. His ass has been saved a few times already.

On a brighter note. Kyle Hammy was fantastic.

This was the stereotypical game that we’re going to look back at come the end of the season when we’re fighting for playoff seeding and wondering how the fuck we dropped the ball (literally and figuratively in this case) and lost it.

idk - ive liked what ive seen from the offence schematically just struggled at key moments
been lots of execution based problems
The guys look a little robotic on the field

all the guys who WERE NOT available by the end of this game:

RB 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Starting WR
Starting LT
Starting C

EDGE 1, 2, 4, 5
Starting CB
Starting Nickel
Starting FS

overcame it well mostly - but it's tough having to constantly overcome injuries rather than just playing your best guys
It's reality. Our injury list will continue to grow until the end of time. I don't know what we did to piss off the football gods, but clearly we're being punished.

I have to give Zay some blame as well. If he doesn't fair catch, runs for a bit and falls down after the 2 minute warning, they would've had maybe 30 seconds left in the 4th to go for the game-tying FG or GW TD drive.
They explained what happened earlier on the radio. The clock was at 1:58 before the free kick, Flowers did exactly what he was instructed to do. The refs reset the clock to 2:03just before the kick and they didn’t have time to get word to Zay.

At this point we know who he is with the ball and I doubt it’s changing. Positive side of that is he can steal some first downs with his legs, negative side he has games where he can’t hold onto the ball

I don't get why Bateman is a non factor through 3 weeks
Hissy fit with the boss is never a good look. Followed up with the OBJ signing and drafting of Flowers. He won’t be around much longer

I’m still shocked at how well the line has held up. Bright spot in all the injury issues
