It's Lucky or Unlucky Week 13 in the NFL as the playoff picture is shaping up it's time to brace ourselves as Winter is coming. We now head into the final month of the NFL regular season(where did time go?) with division titles and wild card spots to be claimed. The Broncos who were once heading toward a top 10 pick, are now a game and a half back in the wild card hunt. While the Panthers who seemed to be a lock for the playoffs spot have lost three in a row and are still hoping to find a playoff spot wrapped under the tree this Christmas. What playoff wackiness will occur this week to shake up the final playoff seeding?

Saints @ Cowboys: Thursday Night Football kicks off the week in Dallas as the NFC (L)East leading Cowboys play host to Mr. MVP Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. The Saints look to clinch the NFC South this week with a win and a Panthers fourth straight loss to the Buccaneers. Dallas will be without DT David Irving and LB Sean Lee this week which could have taken advantage of Saints LT Terron Armstead being out for this game.

Broncos @ Bengals: In 2011 we had the Colts without Peyton Manning, 2017 saw the Packers without Aaron Rodgers and now 2018 gives us the gift of the Bengals without Andy Dalton and potentially AJ Green at the same time. Jeff Driskel will get his first career start against Von Miller and Bradley Chubb breathing down his neck. Denver has knocked off the Chargers and Steelers in the past two weeks and their path to the playoffs gets easier. Seems as if the Broncos are gearing up for a late season playoff run while the Bengals are heading toward..... potentially Hue Jackson as the replacement for Marvin Lewis.

Rams @ Lions: It's a homecoming game this weekend in Detroit as the Lions continue to practice outside for a game inside a dome and Ndamukong Suh returns to Detroit on Sunday. The Rams can clinch the NFC West with a win or a Seahawks loss to the 49ers. The Lions have surprisingly had the best run defense in the last few weeks which is good because they have to stop Todd Gurley. Will the Lions pull off another upset like they did against Carolina or will they fade away into the cold month of December and classify themselves as obsolete?

Cardinals @ Packers: The Packers season is officially over and now they can look forward to getting Rodgers back.... you mean to tell me they could only muster four wins through twelve weeks with Rodgers playing every game? Their playoff hopes are over, Mike McCarthy will find a lump of coal and a pink slip relieving him of his duties as Head Coach in his stocking this Christmas. The Cardinals could also use this offseason to find a GM who won't get a DUI and a new Head Coach who is more suitable for the job and could get Rosen on the right track.

Bills @ Dolphins: The Dolphins playoff hopes took a hit last week in Indianapolis and the Bills look to play spoiler and end their hopes for good this week. The Bills have won two in a row while the Dolphins find themselves 1-4 in recent weeks. Can Miami gain any hope of a playoff berth this week or will Buffalo once again end a AFC team's hopes and dreams of the playoffs?

Bears @ Giants: The only thing the Giants can hope for this Christmas is Justin Herbert declaring for the 2019 Draft or otherwise they may be stuck with Eli Manning for 2019 in the Tank for Tua season. The Bears meanwhile are heading toward their first Division Title since 2010 and could be the time to start taking them seriously when it comes to being a playoff threat to the Saints and Rams. Look for Mack to eat Eli for lunch and continue making Jon Gruden look like a complete idiot.

Panthers @ Buccaneers: The Panthers look to get back on track after losing three in a row, while Jameis Winston may have played his best game this season last week. Will Tampa play foil to the Panthers playoff hopes or will Cam Newton rally the Panthers for a late post season surge into the playoffs?

Colts @ Jaguars: The Raiders started the Tank Bowl party back in August, and now the Jaguars join in the tanking fun. The Jags have again benched Blake Bortles for Cody Kessler as it seems they are playing for a higher draft pick. Colts on the other hand find themselves outside the playoff picture due to conference tiebreaker and need help getting in. Colts win an easy one here.

Browns @ Texans: With Baker Mayfield showing signs of a very bright future, the Browns face off against one of their ghost of Draft Day past. Deshaun Watson and the Texans have now won 8 in a row, and look to make it 9 as they attempt to knock the Patriots out of the BYE week.

Jets @ Titans: Coming off a huge road loss, the Titans look for some home cooking this weekend against the Jets. Tennessee looks to hang on to their slim playoff hopes while the Jets look to play spoiler and knock them for good.

Chiefs @ Raiders: The Chiefs look to put their tough week behind them in Oakland where they look to remain the AFC top seed and hold off those pesky Patriots. Oakland attempts to play hard and try to win but the Chiefs may be too much for them to handle.

Vikings @ Patriots: In a what shoulda, coulda, woulda Super Bowl 52 matchup the Vikings travel to New England to take on the Patriots. Brady and company are just waiting for the Chiefs to slip up and take back the AFC top seed, while the Vikings look to stay in playoff contention in the wild NFC playoff picture.

49ers @ Seahawks: This is another game where a playoff contender takes on a team fighting for draft position. Seattle is on a roll and after a huge playoff deciding road victory in Carolina, they return home to the 12th Man and welcome in the 49ers who looks to hold off the Raiders in the Joey Bosa race.

Chargers @ Steelers: The Chargers look to give the Steelers a run for their money Sunday Night in a possible AFC Championship Preview. Denver pulled off the upset last week, and the Steelers need to get back on track or risk letting the Ravens back into the Division Title hunt.

Redskins @ Eagles: The Eagles NFC East Title hopes took a hit when the Cowboys defense held the Saints to a season low 10 points. To take advantage of any Cowboy slip ups, they must win this game, and the same can be said for the Redskins come Monday Night. Winner likely stays in the division hunt, while the loser becomes a spoiler for the remainder of playoff teams this season.

This is crazy, Dallas is up 10-0 over the Saints and they stopped them on 4th & Goal. What kind of bizzaro world did we just warp into? Second quarter and it should be all Saints but because bizzaro world, Cowboys have the lead.

haha announcers saying brees has never started 0-4 in history in completions and completely gloss over the fact that he should still be driving down the field

The Saints are 4-0 since 2017 when being shutout in the first quarter. Also all those wins came on the road.

saints look shellshocked - dallas better put up points here because there's no way the saints continue to execute this badly for 4 quarters...

their defence looks like it forgot it had to tackle - linebackers look lost
and their offence is really missing terron armstead

I agree. On the other side, you have the Rams in LA right now hoping the Saints continue to play like this so they can take advantage and get the one seed.

Glad they stopped letting jones hold and interfere, he’s been mugging Thomas every play as far as I can see

Morstead might really be hurt badly
so much contact on him all game (and he was robbed of a big gainer in the 1st quarter)
I started watching about 1 minute into the third and every goddamn play that I’ve seen he’s been wrapping his waist and hooking his arm
