The Lamar, The Defence and a case of the Dropsies

It's sad because Zay shouldve had a career 200+ yard day and been known as the Steeler killer. But instead...

I'm not going to crap the OBJ pick because we were all hopeful he was going to be atleast decent for us. But out of the two we should of got D hop.

Bateman, Zay, Agholor, OBJ looked really good on paper. But now we see Bateman is a Drama queen bum, OBJ is continuously hurt, zay is a rook that looks very promising, Agholor has looked good most of the time.

Sometimes I wish this team would stop over valuing picks and hoarding picks and just trade for proven players. Anyways, thats a different discussion.
also think that was a big part of signing Lamar prior to the draft. If it wasn't a big part of it, it definitely helped

Harbaugh confirms the plan was to go for 3, but Lamar wasn't expecting the snap. I get what Linderbaum was trying to do, 4th & 2 and they jumped so thinking we had a free play. Refs missed it and no flag, can't count on the refs to throw the flag because they are human and will miss things.

I'm not blaming Lamar but he must do better

From Jamison:

This is Lamar Jackson's 4th game over the last 3 seasons (since start of 2021) with multiple turnovers in the 4th quarter or OT.

That's the 2nd-most such games in the NFL during that span, per @ESPNStatsInfo. The Ravens lost all 4 of those games.

Shouldn't have even been in that position. Should have had multiple touchdowns, a comfortable lead, and been cruising in the fourth.

A very frustrating game.

Also I never want to hear it again when some random ass preseason darling UDFA gets cut in order to keep a special teamer. We've had to go lighter there this year to cover for injuries and the results are apparent.

So another coaching mistake like the Zay fair catch in the Colts game.
Harbaugh maybe is getting too long in the tooth and it’s time for him to retire.

I'm firmly on the Fire Harbaugh wagon after this game. Same mistakes every year, when we are getting outcoached and outplayed by rookie head coaches, it's telling. How many times can you keep changing the coordinators before realizing that the Head Coach is the problem?

Steve Bisciotti has to step in and make changes. This makes three games in 5 weeks that’s we’re an absolute slop fest for various reasons by the offense. One of these? Sure it happens, but this many this often? No way man, this is systemic
I won't be commenting much this week. Busy at work and I just don't see the point. And I rarely comment on Sunday's, because the emotional aspect takes over the rational aspect.

But what kind of changes can he realistically make? Best WR core in franchise history, by a country mile, and they just didn't execute. Harbaugh didn't call for the FG... Linderbaum just fucked it up.

If the "step in" is to fire John, there's nobody on this coaching staff even remotely qualified to coach this team. And none of them would do any better. A better coach is external, not internal.

I blame John for having one of the worst ST units in the league this year. Outcoached and out-executed in that aspect in at least 4 of 5 games. But I have zero belief that MacDonald or Monken or literally any coach on the staff would fix that.

Teams focus just needs to be back on the fundamentals. Catch the ball. Execute coverage lanes on ST. Execute blocking assignments on punts. Hold onto the football.

And by the way... this was the PERFECT example of how the NFL works. There's not a single team in this league that is "consistent". Not the Chiefs, Niners, Cowboys, Eagles, etc. None of them. Consistency is a problem league wide, and the Ravens aren't immune to it. The good news is... our best is better than most teams best.

Steelers Twitter says Kenny Pickett owns us just like Big Ben did lol……..Kenny fucking Pickett back to back game winning drives SMH

Sorry to say this but Rashod Bateman may not be it yall.

Where the hell was he? Had a terrible drop in the end zone and practically a ghost all game, i’m not sure if his hamstring is bothering him but I expected more out of him this season.

Chase making plays for burrow, once again Lamar has no one
Zay and Andrews are solid. Andrews may have dropped a TD but he also bailed out a poor throw by Lamar on third down with the one handed catch.
