The Lamar, The Defence and a case of the Dropsies

Did anybody run the numbers on what Zay, Nelson, Bate and Lamar would have had if they catch those balls?

2 things happened for the Niners:they aggressively pursued getting an additional playmaker when they got McCaffrey, the Ravens would have never done that. They would have been comfortable with Deebo Samuel. And second, they lucked out with Purdy. Their D doesn't seemed to have skipped a beat either with the departure of Ryans as DC
 


Not totally shocking. I had the Ravens at 9 drops, but overall, the point is Lamar had a fantastic day that was marred by drops.

Not really. Honestly its kind of subjective of what's considered a "drop" vs what's not. You can find different interpretations across different platforms.

There was like 4 egregious one's that I saw that were potentially game altering. Saw some places had tracked 7 officially and others had 9

I think 7 is the right number and I am with you. 4 of them were very ugly

the worst ones were the Bateman drop and the Nelson drop.

Hill has fumbled the ball twice so far in his career if not mistaken.His game against the Steelers was his first fumble this year. I think he's also only missed one game this year as well. I get the frustration but this really the most we have seen Hill in action since most of his time has been as a special teamer. That's not excuse and a running back shouldn't fumble the ball but I think as raven fans we are generally frustrated with a new offense with some players in new position as starters in this offense without thinking that there will be some growing pains.

Thrice according to nfl.com, lost two. But I admit to being off, I thought there were more. But hasn't he been involved in at least two fumbled exchanges with Jackson just this year? Perhaps those are on Jackson, but it takes two to tango, I figure. Anyways, I still think he can't be trusted the way we were hoping, but I should check stats better next time

It was probably charged to Lamar even though this issue seems to happen to Hill. I don't recall having Dobbins with issues like this and even this version of Gus.

That's all focus.
 
I'm saying this now and don't care who believes. We will look back at this game like how the hell did we lose to the Steelers and watch people hop back on the bandwagon. I believe this team will fix its issues as people work themselves back into the rotation. And I'm calling it now. If we are relatively healthy we beat the Niners later in the year.

Random but week 1 all we hear is how Mahomes wrs let him down after a loss.

I honestly liked that, I’d rather have the ball back and a chance to score with the sell out blitz then to watch them bleed the clock and kick a fg. Easily my least favorite way to lose.

This game was an exact mirror of last year vs Buffalo with Lamar’s inside the 5 turnover

Yup.. they will figure it out and that always do. Ravens have too good of a coaching staff and overall a good team a players to not figure it out.
