I saw Mike's presser - he never mentioned zoom or interviews. Only that he does all HC related work at home, at night. Now, that may be what's happening but I reckon Zrebiec is speculating.
Aren't interviews banned before the divisional round anyway?
He’s been doing them. So has Weaver. They can interview virtually now. Only in person after January 22nd.

yep, I posted an article earlier that talked about it. One of them was using EDC as an example
Makes a lot of sense at this time. They had been grooming the guy for years to become the successor, have to see it out at this point. If it doesn't work over the next 2 or 3, you're probably looking at an organizational philosophy shift.
