lol its pretty much impossible for it to be the worst week in franchise history when you just played in a Conference Championship game three days prior.

I can think of a few dozen worse weeks. Namely, any week after our last game that didn't include a SB victory. Those seasons would be worse.

Are you talking about the personal foul on the encroachment? I thought my reply was reasonable, it was the right move and definitely not the reason we lost. We had a 3rd and 9 because of that move

No sir. It was 2nd and 5 (BECAUSE OF THE 12 MEN ON THE FIELD STUPID PENALTY)...at that point the CLOCK WAS STOPPED)...need help in his one.

Because we wanted to make it a 1st and 10 so that it's harder to get a 1st down on the next 3 plays. We expected to get 5 yards, just like the Bills did against the Eagles, but it was assessed as 15 yards.

Getting a first down from a 1st and 5 is easier than getting one from a 1st and 10 so you get the offsides penalty to give up the first down to save clock. If you try to stop them from converting 1st and 5 there’s a high chance they convert and you lose significant time off the clock. It’s negligible but let’s assume they convert 1st and 5 at 2:00 for example. If they convert with a run inbounds then they consume about 40 seconds of clock. If you give up the 1st through penalty you save potentially those seconds

Either it’s to save clock because of the game. The loss is very simple I think. I’m actually more convinced the game is on Lamar. I think he wanted to prove critics wrong and it cost us. He got away from running. BmoreBird mentioned how he wanted Lamar to run on the one Bateman pass. I said I was glad he passed it but in hindsight Lamar did that shit all game. He didn’t take the runs and in hindsight he even had that weird out of character run where he looked back and hesitated instead of being decisive. Lamar did not play his game and did not use what makes him a special QB. Refs sucked but I’m more convinced this loss is on Lamar.
